Drivers side seat buckle replacement

not much info yet but there is some info on the Maverick Forum including this:

“(attributed to: @fordvideoguy) … Campaign #24N08: possibly is a "broken buckle sensor wire".
Might get an airbag warning light on the dash. Fix may be to replace drivers seatbelt. Should be receiving a notice in the mail by late March. Customers have 15 years or 250,000 miles to get it done.”

I saw this on the Ford Pass app a few days ago. Haven’t heard from Ford or the dealer yet. It just says “drivers side seat buckle replacement”.
Doesn’t say front or back. More information would be helpful FORD!

The dealer mentioned this when I was there last week. She said basically you don't need to deal with it unless you have a problem.

I got the notice in yesterday's mail also. No problems with mine right now. I won't deal with it unless it acts up.

got mine for the drivers seat belt buckle, as I can figure they are not going to fix it unless it acts up and they tell you what to look for when it fails.

I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully the battery lasts til they provide the fix. I still don’t know what the issue is with the belt buckle.

the buckle isn't a recall so they won't do anything unless it acts up. all they are doing is giving you a really long warranty on that specific part.

buckle is a campaign issue
placing my 24NO8 notice alongside my 22N18 notice
awaiting til further notice

Asked dealer about it today. No warning light so it doesn’t get fixed. I forgot to ask if the program expires. Leaving you responsible for repair when it does fail.
