Much more of a marketing gimmick than a useful tool. Besides most bottles are now twist off’s.

I've use it a couple of times just to show someone else😅 The guy who designed it probably had a few beers before putting it upside down.

I cut my finger pretty good once on a twist off battle cap. If it doesn't very easily come off, I use an opener. Carry one that is a turtle on my keyring. The feet are screwdriver hesds, too.

At least they didn't put the engine in upside down. But the bottle opener does work, but better try it on your first beer.

I almost never bring glass bottles camping now that most craft brews are available in cans. In an emergency I can pop a bottle cap with just about any blunt object (college tuition well spent!). Still, I'm glad it's there.
Craft beer does not taste the same in cans to me.
