As of yesterday, my right turn signal in the dash started blinking really fast. The turn signal light itself still blinks at the same rate it did before, but for whatever reason the signal in the dash is going at double speed. The left turn signal in the dash is normal. I didn't do anything to the truck yesterday, so I'm not sure why this started happening. I can take it to the dealership to get it looked at, but has this happened to anyone else? Does it resolve itself or does anyone have a quick fix they used?

Check the brake lights as well. The rapid flash indicator doesn't just report bad turn signals anymore.

As mentioned, hyper flash or fast blink is typically caused by a bad brake light bulb.
It happened with my Badlands, I replaced the bad bulb, no more fast blink.
If your going to do the work, be mindful of the tabs on the taillight trim piece, they can easily be broken.

My F-150 did this for a short time. It did correct itself so we really didn't identify the root cause of the problem but, my dealer found a mouse nest in the area that the hyper flash was indicating as a problem.

My 23 Badlands did this in November. Rear right blinker was fine but the brake light bulb was out. Took it to the dealer and was fixed under warranty.

My right brake light went out at 26,000 miles. It took $11.00 and about 5 minutes to change. Fast blinking indicates one of the bulbs on that side of the vehicle are out. Wether that be brake, tail, reverse etc.

Also the packs come in two cause they recommend just changing both sides so it’s even brightness and if one went out the others probably on its way out anyways

First thing I did with mine was to change all the rear bulbs to LED’s. Probably last the lifetime of the car. Why Ford cheaped out on that is beyond me.

I had this happen. Took it to dealer. They fixed it.

You probably now have hyper flash occurring when you press the brake pedal.
Nope. The bulbs are designed as OEM replacements with built in resistors.
