We did the black overlay just on the face of the letters so there is still a white outline around the blacked-out letters.

Did your overlay fit well on the front lettering? The ones I have appear deep will have to add extra backing tape as the front letters on the Bronco Sport are recessed more it seems.

Though I love black Color on almost everything, I would rather have a white overlay. If I could get the BRONCO letters to light up at night, that would be so much cooler.

Does anyone have a picture of how the overlays look on an Oxford White BS?

I'm curious if the white border will blend in with the background and make the darker letters look smaller. On different color BSs, you get a white border.

I was thinking of putting a splash of color on mine, though. Maybe a blue or green one.

First of all, I hope you can purchase these from Ford. If not, can you please tell me where to get them.
Then - my answer is "Bronze Smoke". The first thing I would do would be to paint them to match my BSOB.
The white letters are the one thing I've never liked about my BSOB's appearance.
I've seen a few BS's in white, and they look perfect. You can see the BRONCO lettering, but it doesn't jump in your face.
I was maybe thinking of a shade darker or lighter than the Bronze Smoke color of mine.

Nay. Particularly the overlays that let the white edges show through. Looks beyond awful. But, who cares what randos on an anonymous forum think about something so personal and subjective?

Did you install yourself? If so I know the rear is just an easy remove (heat, dental floss, goof off,etc.) Does the front grille actually have to be removed for the front? Or is there an easy work around?
Looks great actually.

I was the opposite. My letters wer white on white so I added the overlay so they would show up.
