Beer of the day thread

Been on a belching beaver kick lately. This one is what it sounds like. Tastes a bit like weed, but not as much as I was hoping for. Sierra Nevada dank little thing checks all the boxes in this department. And it's also a higher abv. This one clocks in at only 6.6%.

A lighter hazy (i kind of hate hazy beers... they just seem lazy) mostly piney flavor with the terpines at the very back faintly dancing around somewhere. Overall not bad. I give it a 4.5 out of 10. Wouldn't drink one every day.

Also I ran out of propane so I got the kettle going on this rainy night for this cheap piece of chuck roast. Terrible picture.

I remember the first time I bought hazy beer, I had never drank any before and all it said on the bottle was wheat beer. It tasted all right but I couldnt get past the appearance so I poured it out and the next time I was at the store I complained about them selling beer which was obviously faulty. The clerk just looked at me and never said a thing.

There was a time 40 years ago where a couple of friends and I were on a Weiss beer kick. We’d go to this old German bar and drink Hacker-pschorr Weiss beer and eat fresh hot pretzels. I had a Weiss beer more recently and wasn’t too impressed. Not sure if my tastes changed or it just wasn’t a good Weiss beer.

We stopped in Goderich a few years back to hear the bagpiper at sunset on our way to Tobermory, very nice town. Wish I had known about that beer, it sounds bery tasty.

Spotted Cow might be their best selling beer but Fat Squirrel is one of my favorites!
