At least, in the photos, they look quite similar! You took them off? How you did it?

It wasn't too bad. There are several screws to loosen the bottom bumper shroud (not remove, just get a little play) and then about a dozen push pins to slide your arm behind the wheel well liners and you can access a large nut on the back of the tow hook. Twist that off and then there are two screws accessible from the tow hook cutout and they slide right out.

Looks good enough for me! What paint did you use?

It's PY5 (Jeep's Nacho).

That appears more orange to me than Cyber Orange so I'm afraid if I went Cyber Orange, it would actually be even more yellow.

your first picture and taxi cabs are the reason I bought Velocity Blue. I might have gone with Rapid Red if it had been available on a 22MY.

I painted my towhooks to match the Badlands sticker color, but I don't think I got the color quite right.

I wanted to keep that yellow/orange with a gray undertone (to complement Cactus Gray) and not end up with a too-bright Primary Color look, but I think it's a little too yellow and not enough orange. Any ideas on automotive paint colors to try?

PS. Or am I being crazy?

what size tires are you running? Are you on factory suspension or added a lift?

Ok. I’m liking the idea. I never liked the black/grey? Color of the hooks. But I’m liking that tie in.

the problem is the quasi finality of it because I am lazy and only want to do it once. I’m a tad afraid it wouldn't look as cool on my iconic silver. It was that or OJ White. Good thing my wife liked the silver better.

The Maverick Tremor has orange tow hooks, but I'm not sure they're same orange color as the Badlands. I looked for the part #, but I can't find it. Maybe still to new?
