When you remove the two 8mm stud bolts do you just pull back the oil cooler a couple of inches, let the fluid drain and then position the cooler back in place? Do you need to replace any gaskets or stud bolts?
Big Valley Ford in Stockton has been my go-to since Tom Hillier Ford in Escalon closed. Their service dept. has been reliable, and I was told they sell at MSRP and offer whatever discounts are available at the time. They were offering Ford employee discounts to everyone, I'm not sure if that's...
Isn't the 2.0 Ecoboost port injection and direct injection?
The 2.0 Ford EcoBoost engine features both port injection and direct injection. This dual injection system enhances fuel efficiency and power output by spraying fuel into the intake ports and directly into the combustion chamber. The...

Parts are now available to repair your vehicle. Ford Motor Company has authorized your dealer to inspect and replace the 12V battery if necessary free of charge.
I wonder about the "if necessary" part.
I had hood vibration before AVS deflector and I still have hood vibration after the install, it made no difference. I'll have to try and run a fuel line through the rear hood seal and see what happens.
I ordered 1/4"x5' fuel line for $6.99 off Amazon. I sprayed the fuel line with silicone spray...
We like our Bronco Sport Badlands, but here's a few little things I'd like to see improved.
Either a powered rear hatch or a gate that swings to the side.
The hood vibrates at highway speeds, it needs to be stiffened up or redesigned.
Access to the oil drain plug and oil filter without removing...
Ha-ha, yeah, I'm not sure I like that drain plug. I could do it that way, buy I'd hate to open a can of worms. Would it have been too much to ask for a regular ol' drain plug? Apparently so.
The PTU on my 22 Badlands doesn't have drain plug. Does yours? I'm not going to drill and tap it when it comes time for service, I'll get as much fluid out as possible with a suction device. I'm not sure if there's a better way to drain the fluid.
I like the different color on the roof, my Badlands has the charcoal grey top. I didn't get the black top because the grey top is easier to keep clean.
I'd be afraid to run the vehicle without the airbox per the Ford tech's video to warm up the tranny fluid because it might throw a code. For him it's no problem because he could clear the code, but for us maybe not so easy.
The 2.0 has the drain plug in the front, it will leave a 1/2 qt of used oil in the pan because of the angle of the vehicle while on the ramps. I drive onto the ramps and remove the bash plate and then back down to drain the oil, kind of a pain but it's what I have to do to get all the used oil out.
The Badlands has the 2.0L engine with the liquid cooled PTU which is different than the PTU paired with the 1.5L engine. Does anyone have a link to a video showing a fluid change specific to the Badlands PTU?
