BACKGROUND

Forscan 2.3.65 has been updated to support '25 model year vehicles, including the BS.

I was able to permanently disable A.S.S. using Forscan. No errors or warnings on divers display.

Confirmed it is PSCM PID 730-03-01, but Forscan provides an easy to find text description and drop down. Took less than 5 minutes.

No expensive third party wiring solutions required, which may void your warranty.

FYI .. copied your info into the main Bronco (Sport) ForScan Thread

Maybe a new 2025 Bronco Sport FORScan Thread should be created if there’s enough FORScan differences between ā€˜21-ā€˜24 and the 2025 models

The biggest '25 BB differences I have been able to determine are:
  • New MPC engine
  • Digital cluster standard
  • Ford Co-Pilot360 standard
  • Sync 4A 13.2 inch display standard
Not sure if any of those drive Forscan differences.

SYNC 4 vs SYNC 4A

SYNC 4 screens are in landscape orientation. SYNC 4A screens are in portrait orientation.

Mach E and Lightning vehicles are equipped with SYNC 4A. Late model Edge and Nautilus models were also equipped with SYNC 4A.

Pushing the Auto Stop/Start button on the dash is also quite simple.

Changed — Carpeted Cargo Floor is now standard on Big Bendā„¢, Free Wheelingā„¢ and Outer Banksā„¢ series

well there is a down grade for them all. I guess they want you to buy protectors for the cargo floor as well as the seat backs now..

your steering wheel a slight twist just before the light changes. When you do, the engine will start, leaving the auto hold for the brakes (if you use that feature) engaged.
or just slightly lift your foot on the brake pedal and creep forward 1/2 an inch.

That only works if you don't have Auto Hold engaged. With AH on, you can take your foot off the brake entirely and the car will not move. The engine will not restart until you step on the accelerator pedal, or you exceed one of the other parameters listed in your owners manual. One of those parameters is demand on the electrical system. The steering is electric, so turning the wheel triggers a restart.

I'll test that out this morning as I am pretty sure auto hold is engaged and taking my foot of the brakes starts the car. I have known that tweaking the steering wheel as my wife's 2019 edge has the auto start stop so we have been playing with it for years now, but the start cycle is triggered by the brake pedal switch in normal conditions, I don't even have to fully remove the brake to get my bronco or the edge to start, just move it enough for the switch to disengage while breaking remains on. but I will have to confirm weather auto hold is on or off. it seems to come on when it wants to..

Taking your foot off the brake does start the engine however you said you had auto hold set on and the assumption is you took your foot off the brake already .. after a few seconds (with the foot off the brake), let’s say auto stop start engages and the engine shut off ……

now you need to do something to restart the engine like pressing on the accelerator, turning the steering wheel slightly, etc.
