I never touch the high beam lever. I leave the headlight switch on auto and leave it. It seems to work great. 2024 OB.

Don't want to hijack the thread but are the headlights adjustable?

On Lo beam, there is a harsh line at the upper range of their reach. I'd like to see it I can't cast that out a little further.
yes they are adjustable. Open your hood and find the little white cones above the headlights. There’s an adjustment screw at the bottom of the cones. The manual tells you how to adjust them. You need 25 feet of level space, a screw driver, a tape measure, colored tape, and a flat surface in front of your car.

It’s very simple. There are also videos. Or pay a service station to do it.

I have had no problems with it. I once had a police officer on the opposite side of the road sitting with the lights off. The high beams picked up the reflection of the head light and went to low beam. Then it lost the head lights and went back to high beam. I had to turn it to low beams when he flashed high lights at me.

I haven't experienced issues (outside the occasional road sign), but the systems aren't perfect. If it's happening way too often then worth asking Ford about it, could be an overly-sensitive light sensor.

I live in rural TN. In fact, the road I live on is a one-lane blacktop (in my book that's a physical oxy-moron). My gravel driveway is a quarter mile long off the one-lane. I never go over 19 MPH on either. Although I love the auto-dim/bright feature, I really, really need it when navigating these hills in the country when it's unsafe to go 20 MPH. Switchback curves and wildlife require 100% of my attention. It would be nice if I didn't have to manage the lights as well.
I would recommend upgrading the Fogs. I have the Baja Designs fog lights and they are basically as bright as the headlights. The throw on the lights is insane.

Or they could put the high beam switch back where it belongs: on the floor to the left of the clutch pedal. Starter pedal back on the transmission hump would be nice, too. :D

I agree, I went with the factory amber cornering lens. The baja yellow was too close to neon green for me.
