Anyone else missing the panel under the dash above the passenger side fuse box where the floor air ducts are.

The explanation I received from the dealer regarding the tow hook was something to do with European sold Bronco Sports. They get hooks we don't.
Just how the story went I can't recall. As soon as I heard the word "no" everything in the hook conversation beyond that point was jettisoned.
There are many differences between the U.S. an European markets, but that does not apply in this case. Some/many BS models (as well as many other makes & models) here in America are shipped with tow eyes.

From another thread (post #25):

"Should you need to be recovered from the rear, a rear recovery point is mounted directly to the frame of the vehicle. It provides a reliable location to connect tow straps, kinetic ropes or other aids.

To find them, use a suitable tool, such as a flathead screwdriver, then pull from the top edge of the towing eye cover (the towing eye cover has a small lanyard to keep it attached to the bumper)
To retrieve the pin, lift up the load floor in the cargo area and locate the pin in the tray next to the spare tire
To use it, screw the pin into the recovery point; for optimum strength, make sure you completely thread in the screw."

So... how much is the tow hook if we have to buy it, $300 with $800 shipping? I'm going off how much the missing trim panel is.. about $50 and the online ford accessories places want $25-85 shipping......

Since I bought mine used, there's no way I can get any of the 'missing' items out of the dealer. They'll just blame it on previous owner. Maybe if I knew about them before buying, but having signed the papers... aint gonna happen

I had the dash cover ordered today. It’s on back order, which might explain why so many of us are missing them. Not an excuse, but a possible reason. The dealer is paying for it, as it should have come with it. The hood insulation is there.

I actually used the photo from this thread after I confirmed I was missing mine and it looked the exact same! Just communicated with them via email.
Great to hear!

That's how it should be. In our case however, they wanted to set up a service appointment -- which means taking 2 cars to the dealer the night before; dropping off the Badlands; going back home; then returning the next day.

That should not be necessary. It is a known problem. It is just a piece of plastic with some insulation. They should just take the customer's word for it and order the part -- ship it to the customer or the dealership..

The service manager said they need to take photos for Ford. Perhaps there is some legit reason for that, but it suggests that they do not trust their customers. I offered to take photos and send them to him. Nope, he said they have to take them.

I could maybe understand if the part was not commonly known to be missing, or if verifying it meant more than a quick glance. This should not require more than a phone call or filling out a short form online.

I'm missing the panel on the passenger side(hvac cover panel). The engine cover and hood insulator and the rubber cover on the rear seat backs.

Big Bend never had the hood insulator. 2021 Big Bends came with the rubberized seat backs. It's an option on 2022s. They quit putting engine covers on all 1.5s almost a year ago and now no Bronco Sports come with an engine cover.

Has anybody received an official notice from Ford that it is supposed to be there and was missed or is it really a case they just decided to stop putting it on? I ordered one from a regional dealership online for just over $40 delivered to my home. If Ford is claiming it was supposed to be there, then I’ll press for the warranty. If not, it’s not a big deal at $40.

I see the value of this more than the engine cover but then, this is way quieter than my Escape so it will just be an added bonus. I didn’t buy this to be a quiet vehicle. But that’s just me.

Dealer provided replacement today
pics included for parts no. and description
This is very helpful! Did that part come with all the installation pieces, or were there any other parts (i.e. bolts/clamps/whatever)?

Should just snap in. Looks like two snaps in the front and two tabs in the rear that go through the fuse cover.

One piece component
Two slide in tabs (closest to firewall)
One positioning pin (inboard side closest to passenger)
Two push clips (inboard side closest to passenger)

Installation - slide in, position pin and press expansion clip upwards

Secondary note
It did reduce cabin noise levels

Did you order online? If so, where? I've been trying to find it but every place has ridiculous shipping charges so far.

One local dealer will order it for pick up for MSRP + tax. But will probably cancel my order for it being on backorder.

Try ROESCH FORD in Bensonville IL. But, I’m guessing shipping will be higher for you since your in TX.
