I don't have a problem with wind noise, but if there is something to lessen the noise, I'm for it. I don't like what this guy did to lower wind noise. Anybody do anything else? You would think Ford would add a rubber trim in that gap.

I’ve seen a few try the suggestion in the video,
Here are some of those:

For me, it's not a noise issue. It's more of a bug splat and chip issue I'd like to stop, but will leave it be.

I wouldn’t claim that my BS is the quietest vehicle I’ve ever owned, but I wouldn’t say it’s the loudest either. Seems surprising to me he said he had to keep his radio volume on 15 before and now keeps it on 8. 8-9 is what mine stays on when I’m on the interstate already. I wonder what trim level he has. Mine is Outer Banks so maybe his is a big bend and doesn’t have the acoustic windshield???? Not sure if Ford has different windshield for the lower trim levels or not.

I don’t have that much space I could maybe get one strip of 3/8 backer rod, but it would be sticking out. I notice on those other gaps they have a hollow rubber filler poked in there probably for the same reason, I know because I blew the end out with my pressure washer but I just poked it back in. I’ve seen ads for rubber weatherstrip that people supplement around the edges of their doors. I might be willing to try that.

Our 21 BS/BB has almost no wind noise, & what I notice when I am a passenger sounds like it is coming from the vent visors, I put on it.
