Well, I did visit a Ford dealer in San Antonio over Christmas. They told me that they do the warranty work but I have to pay them for it. Then, I get reimbursed from Ford de Mexico. That is not something I want to go through.
Bought my BS Big Bend in Guadalajara about 11 months ago. 10,000 kilometers (about 6,200 miles). Has run like a champ so far but the recall means I won´t be driving it back to the US until that gets resolved.
I live in Mexico and need to go to Houston for about 6 weeks in February and want to drive my 2022 BS Big Bend. I did it this past year and all went great. Not a single issue to complain about. However, with the latest recall notice, I´m not sure if I should take a chance doing it again...
They all get the same
Yes, all manufacturers can let some lemons fall off the tree. A friend of mine got rid of his Mercedes Benz SUV after nine months because it spent more time at the dealership than at his house. He traded it for a Honda CRV and hasn´t looked back. You never know.
I have about 9,900 kilometers (about 6,151 miles) on my 2022 BS Big Bend and have had it since last February. No issues at all. I drove it from Puerto Vallarta to Houston and back in September and it ran like a charm. Gas mileage was about 12 km/ltr (about 29 mpg).
I am a little...
I have purchased the extended warranties on my last two or three vehicles. They have always paid off. The extended warranty on my used Ford Escape, vehicle before the Bronco, paid for itself because of the coolant and ac issues with that wonderful piece of engineering. The last vehicle...
I live along the Pacific Coast in Puerto Vallarta, there is a bit (but not much) of the trip along the coastline. After that, it´s east through the mountains and then into the badlands of central/northern Mexico.
My 2022 BS BB and I just completed at 3500 mile trip through Mexico and Texas and back with two weeks being spent in the wilds of Houston. The Bronc was a champ. No issues whatsoever. Coolant level was constant and oil level never changed. The back seat was down with all available areas...
I have had my 2022 BS Big Bend for about 6 months now. It only has about 3500 kilometers (about 2200 miles). The Ford app indicates that the oil life is down to 54%. The fluid level is fine. I´´m about to go on an extended trip, probably about 3000 miles and I´m unsure if I should have...
Anyone have any additional info or experience with this? It sounds like it applies to the large Bronco, and only for 2021. See the Car & Driver article here:

I was pretty lucky with my 2022 BS BB that I bought. I live in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and went to Guadalajara to get my Bronco. The various trim levels were available except for the badlands. Those were all spoken for and had a waiting list. One thing the salesman did tell me was that Ford...
