Hi all,

My wife has a 2021 Bronco Sport First Edition. Like others, we got the bad noise when braking while backing up (like out of the garage). After about about a year and a half, I swapped out the rear rotors. The car only had about 10,000 miles on it and the pads still looked like new, so I left them. The noise went away for awhile but has now been back for months. I started looking again and see that Ford has a TSB about it. I typically avoid the dealership anytime I can, but was thinking of taking the Bronco in to have this taken care of. My question is, will they still take care of it or will they try to void my claim since I replaced the rotors? Maybe a dumb question, but my experiences with dealerships tells me I should I ask.

There's a thread or two out here. And I forget who originally did it. Sorry guy. But the damond Motorsport rear caliper bracket bushing replacements fix this issue. Only like $80 and save you from the stealership. I didn't have the issue yet on our 24 badlands, but it was definitely present on our previous 21 big bend. I bought 2 kits for front and rear as a preemptive measure and also to stiffen braking performance.

Edit: it was @20Escape

Or you could save the $80.00 & deal with the noise, it is not hurting anything.

Save yourself the headaches from dealing with the TSB and the Dealer (the fix doesn't work). Just throw on a set of ceramic pads (I used Oriellys) - never had a peep afterwards!

Not a dumb question in the least. Mine "moans" every once in a while but until Ford ponies up to fix this (well known) issue, my rig will moan. So long as she stops, I'm good till it's time to go through them myself.

Thanks for the responses. I'm going to by the Damond parts and some ceramic pads and install both at the same time, hopefully it takes care of the noise.
PowerStop sells a package consisting of drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads front and rear for under $400 on Amazon
