Just bounce the suspension a bit and burp it.
ya I do that. it works a couple times, but it won't change the angle of the tank its self. so its not like when there is a restriction and you bounce it to get it going. this one it can't put anymore in as it can't fill uphill with that long tank.

Well, if that's all you can find fault with the BS, all is good.
don't get me wrong, I love my BS, couple little nitpicky things, like the rear wiper only cleaning 1/4 of the back window, the first windshield fluid reservoir ford has put out since the 80's that won't hold a full gallon on level ground, and the fact I can't turn the wireless charge pad off. I am probably missing a thing or two, but the point is all very minor and I am very happy with it, especially the way better than advertised fuel milage.

ahh but not all of us live in California where the roads are always dry. I live in the Canadian mountains where we have snow 6 months of the year and they use liquid melt and salt and gravel on the roads. in the fall/winter/ and spring, I almost go through more windshield wiper fluid than I do gas Haha seriously though a gal every 2 weeks is not unreasonable. but what I can fit in is 3/4 of a gal then I have to add the rest a few days later when there is clearly room for it all if the tank was on the right angle.
you should 3D print an expansion tank for the washer fluid. there's a decent amount of room under the hood for a bigger one even if you relocated.

Like I said…

weird its 3.78L up here. I sometime mistakenly use gal and 4L interchangeably but I forget your gal is smaller than ours. when I buy a gallon of fluid it is 4L not 3.78.

ya, I don't know if I would trust my 3d printer enough to make a tank haha.. but ya there is a tone of room to put a longer one, but I think if I use some washers to lower the back side of the tank I'll be able to get a full 4L jug in. once I am healed up from he surgery I had Monday I'll play around with it and see.

Then it's 4L, not a gallon. Perhaps you meant when you buy a JUG of fluid, it's 4L.
no 4L is a Cdn gallon so when I say a gallon I mean 4L its not my fault your gal is smaller than ours

I also grew up with the imperial system and then they switched to teaching metric in schools in 1975 but we didn't fully adopt metric until the 80's it was a 10 year transition so I grew up with both.

According to everything I can find, a "gallon" is a unit of volume in either British Imperial units (roughly 4.5L) or US customary units (roughly 3.8L). I can find no reference online to "Canadian" gallons. I believe Canada used US units until it enacted the Weights and Measures Act, which switched the country from US gallons to imperial gallons. Than means a "Canadian" gallon is 4.5L, not 4L. If I'm wrong please share a link with the correct information.

Unless, of course, you're just ribbing me. If that's the case then don't worry, everyone in Canada will soon be using US gallons too.

sorry we use the imperial gal not the US gal , but when we buy jugs of stuff they are 4L jugs but old guys like me still call them gal jugs. US gal are just to darn small :cwl:

Personally I think its time for the US to ditch the random system of measurements and fully switch to the metric system, much more precise and easier to use.

yup, I hate having a tiny bit left over in the jug now you have to add it a day or two later and do it twice. part jugs are a pain, if the kids are home I can pour it in their vehicles but they never are. and there is no good place in the bronco to store a part jug so its just on the floor bouncing around. if they would have made one of those side storage by the rear hatch just a little bigger.....

Do you have a towing hitch? Can custom rig up something like this and then feed in with about 20' of tubing. That's 20 feet, 6.1 meters or 19.4 Canadian foots.

That would surely be a *crazy thing to do but totally solves ever running out of washer fluid, great idea!

So am I to believe that all that are having problems are using washers until they completely empty. then complaining it will not hold a full gallon to refill. I would think most people top it off often and running it dry not that good of a practice. Some times a lot of these problems on these forums are a bit comical does anybody agree or is it just me.
