Sweet looking Escape! There's a lot for us to be familiar with in that vehicle, and it actually is a pretty good vehicle/package.I feel ya...
That says 'for Ford Bronco,' and it looks like a frame-mounted receiver...BUT I SEE they list it as for the Sport! So simple looking, I never thought it would be, nor would have thought to attempt it as an add-on.https://www.curtmfg.com/part/13474
Curt has one one on their site. I haven’t found one for sale yet
Great folks to deal with:https://www.curtmfg.com/part/13474

$775 with equipment and labor is what I am gettingHas anyone gotten a price to have the dealer install factory tow package?
Well I've been waiting since December for my tow hitch to come into the dealer...great. but they only charged $500...if I ever get it.$775 with equipment and labor is what I am getting
Well...I may be counting my eggs before they are hatched because I bought my BS last week and they said "next week should be good for the tow package". Waiting. Never occurred to me there might be a lag until I read this thread! That center section looks like an easy 3D printer job. Here’s what the factory install looks like with a cutout for the hitch and 4-pin.
To do what, cut that section out of the bumper cover and plastic-weld this replacement section? That center section looks like an easy 3D printer job.
It's hard to see in this picture, but all that's needed is a cut-out area along the bottom. Curt makes what they're calling a "Class III" hitch-receiver that looks and bolts up identically to the OEM. There is also a Ford part -- the 4-pin wiring harness and connector -- but am not exactly sure how fit that along the non-tow bumper cover. Here’s what a dealer-added hitch looks like. Not sure if this is an O.E. hitch. The bumper cover was not replaced. This photo from Automotive News.
