If you have not already gotten the parts and paid for them yet, I have the shelf that I can sell you for about half the price or less that the dealer will charge you!
Just sent you payment. Thanks!

I've used and enjoyed the CMS but other than hiding objects from casual view I had not found anything that made me go "now that is why it's worth having".
Until last week when I needed to get some gas into 5 gallon cans. Turns out that the table used as a divider in the rear slot is perfect for the ubiquitous 5 gallon plastic gas can. You can fit three across.

Ford Bronco Sport Adding Cargo Management System - Here's Part Numbers and Cost to Retrofit F337C737-26F7-4F1B-B974-5F8FABA7134C
I think it’s the right one on the backside of the panel there is a faint circle mark above my finger where it should be I think it’s a panel for both with and without converter and if you have it you just drill it out?
Which part number did you order? My order with the "FA" suffix was wrong. Like yours, it did not come with the opening for the 400w outlet.

Please share what number they used as now we tried 7831012-BA and that one is not right either.

For those that are considering adding the cargo management system that had not ordered it from the factory, here are the part numbers and prices. (These prices are for the quarter panels that include the rear 110 power converter and for vehicles with the upgraded 10 speaker system)

LH Trim part# M1PZ-7831013-BA $487.97
RHTrim part# M1PZ-7831012-BA $481.52
CMS Table part# M1PZ-7813046-GA
$1,042.47

For reference, adding it when ordering is a $110 option.

Currently, the cost to add later multiples by 20 (minus labor).

In order to add the CMS later on, you will need to order the LH (part# M1PZ-7831013-BA) and RH (part# M1PZ-7831012-BA) panels, as well as the actual cargo management system itself (part# M1PZ-7813046-GA).

Just to add to this, as of 9/23 the CMS is now $195.

That works for people that place orders, but not everyone does that, a lot of people buy right off the lot and can't pick every option. There's also a price to be paid for the cheaper, ordered option in overall space and function and quality.
I passed on buying an OB without the storage because I was convinced I wanted it. Then I found one with it and got a close look in the back and saw how funky the panels are with those giant flanges, the space under is only about 10 inches, and the table is only rated at 30lbs. Plus a lot of pictures being posted show the shelf system is terribly rough on the interior and scuffs it up. Not everyone cares about that, but some might. Then I knew I didn't want the factory option.
You get what you pay for. $110 is a great price, but I think a person can do better with aftermarket stuff and not break the bank. $900, heck say you save 50% and spend $450... $450 is crazy to spend for that stock accessory. It's worth the $110. $450 would get me a table, cover, organizer and a pop up and grill too.
As of September 2023, the CMS is $195 when ordered with BS. I didn't do it because I ordered mine over the phone and salesman didn't think to go over what the Cargo Management System was. If he had I would have ordered the little shelf that really only serves as a cover for the things underneath it. Bought an organizer on Amazon instead for $42.

I’m somewhat upset at Ford over this Ford packaging item and I feel that there was intentional misleading going on.

This stupid table has been highly advertised as a Bronco Sport feature and, I don’t recall any of these videos or stories stating that it was only available by special order at the time of order.

To make it even worse, when looking at the Ford build site, the cargo management system doesn’t even tell you it is a table. How does anybody know that is what the CMS is? In no other vehicle does CMS refer to a table and the ford site doesn’t tell you it is the table.

Good job Ford, this is almost bait and switch.

I don’t think it was hard to figure out what the CMS is and does when ordering. And it’s not just a “table” so it isn’t going to be labeled as such. It’s definitely a Cargo Management System much more than it is a table. There have definitely been people on here that wanted it but didn’t get it for the reason you stated as it not being included on every build, but that is no where near a bait and switch practice.

I ordered it because it was $150 MSRP and probably closer to $130 X-Plan. I knew that it was effectively impossible for me to add it after-the-fact. I thought it was a nice feature, but didn't know if my wife would want it (it's her rig). I ordered it. My wife removed it on Day 5 and it's sat in our garage since. I doubt she ever uses it.

So, those who don't have it ... it's probably not the biggest miss. It sucks, though, that the feature is so deeply integrated into optional panels. It should be a standard aftermarket item that an owner could add at any point. Strange design decision to do it the way Ford did.

Ok, Ford allowed countless video bloggers to highlight this feature of the vehicle. I don’t remember any of them saying it is only available if you order it. Ford didn’t make sure the thing the blogger was highlighting was properly identified. This is the bait.

When looking at the build side at Ford the option says “cargo management system” with no explanation and only a small crappy picture. Every other CMS for a car is a system that compartmentalizes the cargo to keep the trunk organized. The Ford option doesn’t identify that the CMS is a table and not an organization system.

Why didn’t they include the carabiner hooks on the side and call them a CMS too because they actually manage cargo? A truck bed extender manages cargo and every advertisement shows or explains what it does, in both positions.

Ford didn’t do this, this is the switch.
