I'll start gathering information so I can install the sensor when it arrives.
It would be very helpful to know what each wire in that connector is for.
That looks like connector C922, but the info in PTS on it does not seem to be very helpful.

If the Bronco Sport has an Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual (EVTM) like other Ford vehicles I'm used to (albeit they're older vehicles), they will typically only show the circuit numbers for larger connectors. Then one needs to go through the various "system" diagrams (engine control, abs, airbags, illumination, etc) and find the circuits. With the electronic versions of the EVTM, one can search on a connector and it will show the various systems associated with it. It can be tedious and time consuming. Cheers!

Check FORSCAN, the rain sensor capability may be built into the car already but just needs to be turned on.

Update thanks to the information provided.
The female connector is missing 3 wires. Those 3 wires are for the rain sensor. I tested them and there is 12V.
I've already connected the wires to the female connector.
All I need is the rain sensor; connect it and program it with Fodscan, and it should be working!

But nothing's happening!
The data cable reaches the steering column. The sensor has voltage...

I'm going to measure tomorrow.
I don't know how it works, I suppose it's a variable voltage between 0 and 12V

Things are going badly!
The sensor I bought was faulty!
I realized while testing that the infrared LEDs weren't lighting up. And when I measured, it was returning the same supply voltage...
In the video, I test an LED with 1V and it lights up.
What a waste of time! Now I have to buy another sensor and try again.

@pantera155 is a good working rain sensor supposed to simply change its output voltage when rain is detected vs no rain detected? Basically being ”on” or “off”?
