Will do.Yeah, let me know. I couldn't get a couple of bolts in the rear off, they just spun in place. Body shop told me the biggest cost in their bid is how much they needed to take off and put back on just to get to the sensor plugs.

okay, I took my rear bumper insert off. All the bronco bolts came off with no issue except for the two underneath on either side of the license plate. They go through plastic and pretty much just spun in place. You have to use your fingers on one hand to lightly pull on the washer while you unscrew with the other hand.Yeah, let me know. Yes. After I removed all the bolts, I put one bolt back in on the top on the left about half way out and that held the bumper while I reached in on the right and removed the sensor from its round holder. Thanks - were you able to pull the bumper off enough to get to the sensor plug connection?
So it's a little more complicated than the front bumper. The bolts on the bottom, below the shackles, go through a collar that is reverse threaded into the metal bumper. The bronco bolt is pushed through this collar before going into the threaded hole. When you unscrew, you reach a point where it is unscrewed from the thread, but still pressed in the collar. You can pull the screw out at that point. Thanks - were you able to pull the bumper off enough to get to the sensor plug connection?
Florida boy here. It’s cold when it hits the 60s.Thanks, great explanation. Why do the engineers have to make it so difficult.
Shorts weather? That's about 3 months away for here. It warmed all the way up to 20 in my garage yesterday.
I like it. Congratulations on your new ride.Hello folks, I appreciate the information on this forum. It helped me greatly with decision-making. On 11/05/2025 I ordered a BSBL and have received a total of 3 notices from Ford so far on progress with yesterday's email reporting that it has been shipped. Estimated delivery to SLC, UT between 01/25/2026 - 01/31/2026. They provided several images and something caught my eye. The front bumper with the same steel/recovery hooks appears to be all black now. Mine is non-SAS, so I can't speak to models equipped with that package.
Another thing I noticed is that the tires are listed as "225/65R17 Continental All-Terrain (A/T) Tires" -- so I wonder if they may have upgraded these slightly from the previous year's Cross Contact ATR to the Terrain Contact AT. I doubt that is the case, but will know for certain in a couple of weeks.
Here's the new front bumper appearance:

Those look nice! I'm between those and the Toyo Open Country. I'm doing a lot more highway driving so safety and noise are more important now.BF Goodrich Trail Terrain T/A's. We went one size larger than stock. I also have them on my 05 F150 2WD. We love them almost no tire noise at highway speeds.
