Hi all.

My check engine recently came. And the code that popped up on my reader was P0456. Description for it is:
"Fault code: [P0456]
Evaporative Emission Control System
Leak Detected (very small leak, check
fuel cap, piping, etc)".

I looked online to see where the Evap solenoid is located and have no idea where it physically is.

Anyone know where the Evap solenoid or vent is located? Engine bay?

Usually located at or near the fuel filler neck. Since our BS's do not have fuel caps, something else triggered the code.

Are you stopping the fuel fill sequence when the pump shuts off the first time, or are you one of those that 'squeeze's the handle to top off'?

If you squeeze the handle several times to top off, you are over filling, which will allow fuel to drain back into the charcoal canister (part of the evaporative Emission Control System). This canister is meant to capture gas fumes, but not raw gas. Too many fill ups with continuous fuel 'top offs' will damage this canister and trigger the code.

Expensive repair/replacement if this is your case.

Yea it's the evap solenoid. It's suppose to be somewhere in the engine bay. It's a $40 piece.

I stop pumping gas once the pump shuts off the first time. I never 'top off'.

There's gotta be a diagram or something out there that shows the location.

It can be someting as simple as the internal gas filler neck valves not seating. Insert and remove the gas funnel a few times to see if it clears it up. I think I read that in the owners manual.

Plus it's right there in the description OP posted.
