Hello everyone,
I’m having an issue with my 2021 Bronco Sport Outer Banks (about 80k miles).
When the vehicle is in Drive and stopped at a red light, I hear a rattling noise at idle or under ~2,000 RPM. The sound seems to be coming from the front of the vehicle, possibly the radiator / cooling...
You were right! It was the RDU.
Here is my latest post and update on this: https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/2021-bs-ob-car-makes-weird-jerk-feeling-when-slowly-turning-right.17664/
Update: issue resolved!
I followed up with my service advisor in the second week of October after realizing they had forgotten to schedule my repair. This time, they were actually great and got me in last Monday (10/13) for a drop off. I figured it’d be a one or two day job, but thankfully I...
Update:
Wanted to circle back with some details after today’s dealer visit.
The grinding noise I mentioned earlier was not from the RDU itself, that only happened because the retaining clip on my front passenger brake assembly had fallen off. Once that was gone from the wheel area, the...
Hi.
I had a post on this last year: https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/2021-bs-ob.12092/
This is the same dealer I purchased the car and have done every service at it as well.
Circling back to this because I brought it back to the dealer for 60K maintenance, my car is at 76K...
Hi all,
Just wanted to give an update on this, Incase anyone was wondering or has a similar experience. It was the new tire threads. That was the issue. Probably after 5k miles on the new tires. I hadn't even realized it went away. Just dawned me I should update this thread.
Thanks for all the...
Hi. As the title says, my blinkers are clicking very fast.
Last night my right turn signal blinker started flashing fast. I parked and had someone look at my exterior lights, my right brake light was out.
Cool, not a problem, a quick fix.
I went to Advanced Auto Parts, was going to get the...
Yep, exactly.
I believe pre-recall, the light does not come on, even for low voltage, whatever that tolerance is on the control system. But hopefully, post-recall fix, can now light the battery icon. Notifying users of a potential battery issue or other electrical issues. I can easily use meter...
Update on this. I tested what Mark S suggested.
I'm in the car, turn the steering wheel 95% to the right, and slowly take my feet off the brake and gently place it on the accelerator, that noise happens. I wanna say it also feels like I am driving on soft snow. I really want to capture this on...
I wanted to come back to this thread. Even though I replaced my battery. I did get the recall in the mail. Recall 24S24 / NHSTA Recall 24V267. I am getting it completed by end of this month. There is a battery icon on the dashboard. I am not sure why so many users are saying there is no warning...
Yes, the noise happens when I turn the steering wheel, I would say turning about 35% and above? The noise happens. I also wanna say the car has the same feeling as if it just snowed during this speed and turn.
I will see if it does it when I am still and update back later today. Good suggestion.
I'm trying to get a recording of it.
But one way to explain the noise is think of driving and turning on fresh soft snow in low speeds.
It's just one noise. Only happens in low speed (<10mph) and only when turning right.
Correct, right after I had the brakes and rotors installed. Not necessarily a thunk or loud noise. I don't know how to explain it, I'll try to record it and capture what I am talking about.
Hi.
I got my brakes, rotors, and tires replaced back in May 2024. I was at 55K miles. Everything seemed great. The only thing I am noticing is every time I am doing a right turn at very low speeds (<10mph), the car makes a strange noise and it feels a little off. I can't quite explain it. And...
