These last 5 responses lead me to think that three things have to take place before the latest TSB will work....

Latest TSB, Correct parts, And must be installed correctly.

Might as well add that the latest lunar eclipse occurred, and that world peace is just around the corner.

Geeze!

I had it done with the superceding kit. After seeing the root cause I could've corrected it myself just by cleaning the caliper guide pins and caliper slots and then coat both with silicone lube. Depending on road grime, moisture, mud and everything else that gets thrown up on the calipers it should be a annual maintenance routine. The kit definitely helped but again annual cleaning will keep every sliding good. While I had everything apart I installed new slotted rotors and ceramic pads. Between the kit and new pads I cannot even hear pad engagement and they fully disengage as well. Better than new!

Yes I was trying to remain positive and hoping for just short of needing world peace or replacing all the brake hardware with PowerStop

Some owners stated they never hear noise when backing up
My 22 BB has never made the noise in 18.5k miles. For once I'll count myself as lucky. Cheers!

Although cooler moist air exacerbates the issue, you're probably due to get a sound surprise soon. Cheers!

Its quite possible that those that do some spirited off roading may get dirt up and around the calipers, adding to the potential of brake noise.

Still moans sometimes but less often after both repairs

For those of you experiencing this issue, you can avoid the noise by applying light throttle while stepping on the brakes when backing up. That means one foot on the brake pedal and one on the accelerator pedal. I suggest you practice this a few times away from obstacles before doing it in a parking lot full of cars. The light brake pressure will prevent the resonance causing the noise. You only need to do this for a few feet; once the rotor is warmed up any moisture will evaporate, preventing further resonance.

Since the brake and accelerator are close you can actually do a heel and toe action here but the reverse since the positions are not the same as in manual transmission. Heel on brake toe on gas if you can bend your foot that way

Just a data point. Had the original TSB done a year ago and it made the moaning worse and happen 100% of the time. Had the most recent TSB done in January and the moan went away. It's now mid April and hasn't returned. Only time it has ever happened since is once very quietly after driving a dusty dirt road, and once very quietly after it sat in freezing rain.

I'v had my 23 Badlands for 3-4 months now, and have had the noise appear 2-3 times. Annoying sound more than anything. I'll see if i can have that taken care of in the coming weeks along with my Recall for the driver side seat buckle.

If you are referring to customer satisfaction program 24N08 other owners reported the dealership told them the driver side seat buckle will only be replaced if found to be defective

Agreed. However, when I was looking to schedule service, it said I had a Recall for the seat buckle.
