Having some serious buyers remorse... Probably my last Ford...

I have had 4 Hyundais and never had any serious issues. I had to replace the trans in my current Elantra due to someone draining the tranny instead of oil pan. Honestly most of what I do on that car is maintenance. Suspension and what not.

If you don't want to go brand new go to car-part.com and it'll search salvage yards for the parts you need. Most will ship! Got a tranny for my 2017 elantra for $300 with 18k miles on it. Works fantastic. The salvage yard near me is my favorite place now.

Realized you have the 2.0. Still about $500 bones.

It's pretty much the same when it comes to alternators and belts. Rock Auto has a motorcraft alternator for less than $500, brand new. I can get the workshop manual for you to service it yourself if you're interested.

Did you purchase used? Do you have any mechanical knowledge? Replace the alternator yourself! Or take it somewhere else since it's not covered under warranty. I am a Ford student, if you're in the Pittsburgh area, I can help put it in.

Same crappy experience. I should be able to trust my brand new car. I'm going to switch to another dealer to do my warranty work, and see if my experience gets any better.

I think it definitely has to do with it being a first year model. I'm in the Ford asset program for my associates in master technician training. It's not just the Bronco sports having the problems. There's many vehicles having issues and concern. It seems like quality has gone down in the last...

Having some serious buyers remorse... Probably my last Ford...

I can't forget to mention the windshield! Cracked on my way to New Orleans from Pittsburgh. On the way there there was a crack on the driver side to the middle of the windshield, and then a spidering chip on the passenger side!

Having some serious buyers remorse... Probably my last Ford...

This is my first Ford and will likely be my last. I never had more issues with a vehicle than with this one, and can't stand the dealer I go to anymore. I bought my BS OBX September 2021, and was so excited to have this vehicle, I was in love. I traded in my 2020 Hyundai Kona SEL plus. First...

Not very happy with Ford at the moment.

I've had a few Hyundai's, an honestly they have the best customer service. Anytime I've ever had an issue they jumped on it no problem. If I ever had any concerns even if I wasn't there for that concern they made sure that it was checked and taken care of if it was in warranty. I've owned three...

Not very happy with Ford at the moment.

I'm only using the dealerships till the car is out of warranty. I usually do all my own work on my cars after they're out of warranty. I'm actually in school for the Ford asset program. And when I'm done I'll be a master mechanic for Ford. I don't think I want to work with them after I'm done...

Luckily I live in the city and have a few close by.

Yeah when you get "the works" package, the are supposed to check all of that. That's usually what I pay for. About to seriously find another dealer. I always use dealers on my cars until they're out of warranty. I want to make sure I don't do shit that they can come back to me and say they won't...

Not very happy with Ford at the moment.

It just sucks! Because I clearly asked the service advisor to please check the water pump and coolant levels. He said they did and everything looked normal. With the amount of coolant, or lack of coolant in the reservoir, id say that was a lie. If it was leaking that fast, I'd be overheating and...

Not very happy with Ford at the moment.

Last time I was at my dealership for an oil change and tire rotation, I asked them to check my fluid levels, and I specifically ask them to check the coolant level due to multiple people having water pump failure after around the 25K mark. I'm at 32K miles, and I happen to pop the hood so I can...

    Gas mileage?

I do, a low profile one. But I put that on a few months after I bought it when we did some traveling. Even before that it sucked butts.

    Gas mileage?

I don't. I have my dogs car seat in the back that's about it. Lol. Don't judge me.

    Gas mileage?

Yes, I live in Pittsburgh, and my OBX is a 2021, I'm the only owner. I haven't noticed much of a difference through out the seasons. I drive an Elantra as well and I average about 32 mpg with that. My driving habits are good, I drive for a living and have been for the last 5 years. I just see...

    Gas mileage?

Is anyone else struggling with their gas mileage? The best I do is 21mpg, right now I'm between 19 and 20mpg. I was under the impression that I should be getting 25 city and 28+ highway. I drive normal and not like a jack ass, i keep rpms at about 1.5 while cruising. I've tried the eco mode and...
