Yea, severely disappointed in this particular place. I had a great hand car wash I used to go to in Bellevue, WA area when I worked there. I guess I was just hoping for the same caliber and totally got burned. Also learned my lesson to do a careful walk around before leaving, but anyway...

I suspect so as well, but no matter how hard I scrub it's not coming off, so it makes me wonder if the finish is permanently damaged.

It's not sticky at all, it's something that destroyed the finish on the grill.

Was trying to get a nice clean up job while on a vacation in Mesa, AZ. Took it to Five Star Car Wash. Noticed later these drip marks on my grill that do NOT come off. It looks like they used a chemical that destroyed the finish. I am so so sad and mad! Any suggestions?

Mine makes that noise too, when I heard it I freaked and took it in to my service dept. They had a special tech listen to it and they said that yes, it's normal.
