I have this too! Well, mine sounds like when a plastic water bottle "pops", not a normal blinker stalk sound because it's pretty loud. I told my Service Dept about it, they looked, but couldn't find anything wrong.
I don't think you'll have any issues towing a teardrop and added stuff in the car. My BS towed the boat 45 miles, I'm not sure how much it weighs, and just my 5yo in the car with me, not much stuff. Since the distance was fairly short, no mpg decline noticed. We're towing the camper with the...
Yes, Ford put out a service bulletin ( you can find it in this thread if you go a ways back). For most it's the cable issue, and I believe easy to fix. Take the service bulletin in with you to a Ford service dept and have them drive with you to listen to the noise. I have not had mine replaced...
How it can drive through the deep snow up our driveway without hesitation, and also, it just makes me happy to drive it. The combination of everything about it makes it my favorite car I've ever owned!
There were only two things that I didn't like, but have since remedied on my own... The auto start/stop and the lack of a HL garage door opener. Minor things that were easy to change, and now it's "practically perfect in every way" ?
I think this color hides dust and dirt really well. I've always had dark vehicles, but decided that I loved CG the first time I saw it in person and so glad I chose it.
I haven't been scared in high winds yet, has felt solid to me. My second car was a '95 Suzuki Sidekick and I had a cargo box on top all the time. Now, THAT was scary on a windy day, so the Sport doesn't even compare.
I have long arms, but the console armrest and door armrest are too far apart for me. I only notice it on long road trips, so I bring a small pillow to wedge between me and the door which works great. Have been thinking that if they had an aftermarket fold down armrest to attach to the seat it...
The way I understand it, you don't drive your own vehicle anyway, they provide them. A good thing so we don't destroy our brand new babies trying some gnarly climb and f-up. A bummer in that you wouldn't have it to take to Moab, but shouldn't stop you if you want to go!
I am excited and definitely want to sign up once I confirm with the hubs! Been waiting for Moab to open up for the BS, it's a quick half day drive for us.
Just installed my new visor ordered from Tasca Parts and got it all programmed. Looks and works great. So happy, thank you for sharing this solution!!
This video helped me with the programming, so sharing for anyone else that needs the info:
Sounds similar, but really hard to tell. If you go back in this thread you'll see that for some the noise is just the cable and for others they replaced the transmission... I would say to take it to your service department and have them listen to it. The service bulletin is also in this thread...
Some in this thread have had the cable replaced at the dealership and it was resolved. Mine has actually stopped making the noise over the last 1000 miles, so I may not bother now.
I am sure loving this car in the snow! Handles so much better than my previous car (Mazda CX-9), which did pretty good, but couldn't tackle my driveway when it's too deep. The Bronco Sport has been so reliable this winter.
Tested it again tonight and it's not revving on it's own. I think I was misunderstanding that it was shifting itself to lower gears that made it feel like that way. Thanks all!
So for the first time we've received enough snow that I tried out my Sand GOAT mode the other day when our road hadn't been plowed yet. As soon as I switched it over, my BS BL starts revving the engine up and down. It freaked me out so I switched it to Slippery and went on my way. Tried it again...
