Okay, picked mine up from the service dept today and the ruling is that they are waiting on the Ford brains to come up with a fix . In the meantime, there is supposedly no concern with continuing to drive it with the noise. They will contact me when Ford issues the official fix, hopefully...

Took mine in on Friday. Fortunately I was able to replicate the noises for the tech. They basically are waiting to hear from Ford now, they can see that others are reporting the same noises and so now it's a wait and see what Ford finds out.

Yep, same noise I have. Some days it seems to be more prevalent then others. Anybody have another noise that happens when it shifts, kind of sounds like electronics clicking? It reminds me of the noises my old computer used to make when it was "thinking". I'm wondering if these are related?
