So several days after my second visit... It's gotten louder. Pretty much no difference from after they initially did the work.
I'm going to wash the vehicle tomorrow. If the weather here is warm enough, I'll hit the rear brakes with the pressure washer, but I'll probably be relegated to the...
The Yucca platform has a side mount system. That's probably what he's rocking.
EDIT: I'm wrong. Yucca's side mount is way up high. Not over the windows.
DOUBLE EDIT: It IS the Yucca platform. They sell a seperate "Zombie Guard" that goes over the windows.
It's been 2 days since the rework. According to the tech, they uninstalled the new parts, removed all the old grease, then reinstalled them with new grease - and plenty of it.
The noise is ALMOST entirely gone. Far better than the crazy loud constant version of it I had after the first service...
I haven't done my off roadeo session yet, but I will be in Moab next month to meet with some friends. We plan to do some light-medium off roading for a day. I'm also curious what options folks have.
The loud whistle and lack of power sounds like the intake manifold and/or throttle body again. Not Canadian, but I suspect you'd be better served contacting a lawyer familiar with lemon law, rather than any advice you'll get here.
If those are the install instructions I think they are, they involve removing the headliner to access the rail mount holes from inside the cab. I've heard there is another option that involves popping off the plastic trim that your wire is currently taped next to. The wire will still be exposed...
It was hairier than expected. This was last spring and it was pretty washed out from the snow melt. Definitely required some careful lines. A spotter wasn't 100% necessary, but it certainly helped me get through with only a broken mudflap. You will need to air down your tires, and bring some...
Just throwing my experience into the fold. Moan started for me a couple months after getting the BS in late 21. Only ever on first backup of the day.
Heard of the TSB and had the job done at AutoNation Ford Littleton, CO a couple weeks ago. Now it moans louder and every single time I back up no...
Sorry for such late replies. I'm a troglodyte who doesn't check my notifications on this forum.
I used the boot on the passenger side. Small incision with an exacto knife, and pushed the 5V accessory power wire through. I also used the grommet on the driver door sill for the switch panel...
A month or so ago I tackled Yankee Hill OHV road outside of Denver in my Badlands. Being spring and wet, the trail was pretty washed out and more difficult than Youtube and OnX had us believe going in. Without a lift kit, I had to yeet the vehicle though some sections, but it had ZERO traction...
Installed a relay control system for exterior lighting and powered accessories: https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/auxbeam-ar-800-power-relay-control-system-install.6555/
I have plans for exterior lighting and a GMRS radio in my Bronco Sport Badlands, but have been waiting for a power/relay control system before installing anything. I picked up the Auxbeam AR-800 from Amazon because I didn't feel like spending over $500 on an sPod or SwitchPro. This thing is...
Make sure you try with gas from a different station. I was on a road trip the other month and filled up at a station that must have had bad quality gas, because my mpg dropped by 5 or more mpg. As soon as I refilled, mpg returned to normal.
PSA: Never, ever trust any dashcam to have picked up defining details about the other car. As soon as something happens, start reciting the details out loud. License plate #, make, model, color, street you're on, whatever you can think of... say it out loud so your dashcam picks up the audio.
The Viofo A119 fit perfectly behind the rearview mirror and was an easy install straight to the fuse box. I popped the adaptive cruise camera cover and routed the cable inside of it and the headliner, down the A pillar, and right into the fuse box. Adhered the camera right to the camera cover. I...
I picked up the Harbor Freight cross bars for $80. I have no misconception of what they can and can't handle in terms of dynamic loading, but for my very limited use for them until I get a dedicated platform, they beat a $600 pair of Yakima's handly.
The Harbor Freight cross bars have a t-slot...
