I love this vehicle more than any car I've ever driven in my life. As if that wasn't enough, I am constantly stopped by folks, almost daily, who compliment my Sport, ask how I like it, or ask questions about the vehicle. It's rare I have an outing where I park somewhere and don't get approached while sitting in the vehicle, gassing up, or getting out to walk somewhere.

Just today, I was parked in a neighborhood playing on my phone while I waited for my hair appointment. A postal worker pulled up alongside me and signaled for me to roll down my window. I thought I was accidentally blocking a mailbox, but she was curious how I like the Sport and was telling me about her classic Bronco that she used to own. She complimented the color and styling and gave me a fist bump when I told her I'm getting more than I paid to trade up to a Badlands. It totally made my day and was a great interaction. And it happened two other times with different folks just today!

That being said, I'd love to hear your stories about how often you're stopped by folks eyeing up your Sport. I'm curious if it happens more or less often based upon where you live. Please share your experiences, especially any that have made you genuinely happy!

Looking forward to these interactions myself once I get mine. I used to have this happen fairly often when I had my 89 Mustang & yes a simple interaction over a car can really make your day!

Having said that, I’m curious if it might be a way to meet my neighbors. A few doors down they brought home an A51 BB before I ordered mine. Usually garaged, I rarely see it or them and I don’t know them. Perhaps just seeing another around might be an excuse to stop & chat one day.

When I drove a Big Bend daily...

(1) Almost always get a one-finger wave from other Bronco Sport drivers.
(2) Drove by a country club and someone pointed at me with their golf club and their whole group looked my way.
(3) My barber said I should take it to a car show (neighborhood and business community hosts one for any and all 'interesting' cars -- I was out of town though). He went on to say that he owned an FJ Cruiser about 10 years ago and hated it lol.

I've had my OB for 18 months. 20,000 miles. Only four people have asked me about it or commented on it. ?‍♀

I get a lot of comments on the BS. Last week at a gas station, someone came up to me and asked to look at the car. He said he wanted to trade in his big King Ranch pickup to get a Bronco but his sons didn't like the idea because they wouldn't be able to afford a similar truck. They guy was very interested in the BS. We talked about the differences between the BS and the big Bronco.

A month or so ago I tackled Yankee Hill OHV road outside of Denver in my Badlands. Being spring and wet, the trail was pretty washed out and more difficult than Youtube and OnX had us believe going in. Without a lift kit, I had to yeet the vehicle though some sections, but it had ZERO traction issues throughout the whole run, even in spots where my friend's 4Runner was slipping and sliding. Here's an album from our journey.

At waypoint 13 on the TrailsOffroad page (the Quartz Mine), I cleared a very sketchy obstacle and the big group of wheelers in the area were hooting and hollering as I made it up and over the obstacle. I made their day seeing a stock AWD make it through the toughest section of the trail, and they made my day with their comradery.
