Oh that is a nice feature. I will use that in the future but thinking I like the ability to have a GPS that has all the maps already installed with a focus on trails/off-road like the one linked above.
The not-so-funny thing about that, is it is getting worse by the day. They now have over 100 cargo ships waiting to be unloading in just one port in cali.
Coming from my 3rd Tacoma and doing overlanding/off-roading with others from Tacomaworld I can tell you that no one I know ever worries about max cargo numbers. My Taco, optioned out max, only had less then 1k lbs for max cargo... 4 friends in the vehicle would max that out not including...
So while driving around this week in the mountains my phone lost all cell signal about 1/3 way to the trails. In my Taco I had built-in Nav so it was not an issue however my BS OB does not.
What do you guys all use for trails/mountain driving when you have no cell coverage? I thought Google...
Is that engine cover on the build list? Like specifically called out on the build list. I am willing to bet you will find fine print on one of your contracts on the order that parts maybe different then when ordered. That is very standard language of pre-order contracts, at least in my field...
This is at Tipsoo Lake in WA
I have no idea how to add .gif photo's into this forum. I take "live" pictures which show the snow really good. You can turn them into .gif's easily in iOS but this site does not seem to support .gif uploads.
I did not see any thread on this topic in at least the first 2 pages of threads so figured I would post one. I have seen threads on doing off-road adventures but I am more focused on the lighter side of adventures - Forest roads, unimproved, and even pavement. Places even a base BS can get...
Octane rating does nothing to keep your engine cleaner, or dirtier either. Detergent added to the fuel is for that and ALL gasoline, at all octane ratings have to have a minimum detergent additives for sale, in the US at least.
Octane is a rating on how heat resistant the fuel is which...
The Denali does not have a sensor to tell you if it is open? Denali is the highest trim level if I recall on GM products. My 2020 Tacoma would alert me with a chime in the vehicle if I left it open AND also send a text to my phone.
This Bronco Sport if my 4th Ford Vehicle with Sync.. this is standard operation as far as I can tell. Ford Sync is the slowest head unit I have ever owned to update. I even tried once with a USB drive and it still took 1.5 hours to "install" it and another couple hours for the unit to get...
I am sure Ford and Dealer will say "Supply issues.." that is now the go to for everything.
Cust: I did not get a spare key
Ford: Supply issue
Cust: Why is there only 3 tires
Dealer: Came from factory, supply issue
;)
Just wondering if others in Enumclaw/Ravensdale/Maple Valley/etc area would be interested in doing "day trips" to places. I need to be more active and figured doing some light trails would be good.
Tomorrow (Tuesday 19th) I will be doing a trip to Tipsoo Lake.. should still be open the NPS...
Awesome! Thank you.
And I agree, everything in Sync should be within 3 clicks, when I was doing web development we had a rule.. no more then 3 clicks to anything.
If you will use it, it is nice. Have you used them on previous vehicles? I just never saw a need for them... I guess if I was to lay back in the seat and star up at the stars ;)
Yes, what I am looking for is 1st hand knowledge of those that HAVE gone off road with Base/BB/OB trims and not BL/FE editions. I have plenty of off road experience but that is all in dedicated off-road rigs that have been modified, like my old Tacoma.
