  1. Having some serious buyers remorse... Probably my last Ford...

They are past the 3/36, power train doesn't cover it. Does anyone have a full power train warranty breakdown on what specific components are covered? An alternator went bad, it happened. Yeah maybe you think it should last longer than 2 years and I would be disappointed also. But consumers...
  2. Furious!!

Sounds like you need to escalate this with the selling dealer and see if they will do anything for you. Check your lemon laws in your particular state. Usually lemons law only kicks in when the vehicle was purchased new and is within the first 12 month and 12k miles of ownership. Used vehicles...
  3. Furious!!

It's a shit situation for sure. Diag fees are a joke in most cases. To diagnose a battery/alternator issue it's usually no more than hooking up a meter to see if the thing is charging or not. I would request detailed documentation on what exactly they found. Try to talk to the service manager...
  4. Furious!!

What warranty do you have? How many miles?
  5. coolant intrusion excessive coolant consumption

Engines fail. Go into any shop and you find failed engines. Could be a head gasket, who knows. You will find more failures on a form like this from Karen's coming to complain and gripe about it.
  6. Replacing the Rear Differential

Is this a case of vehicles built around the COVID days? Seems like a lot of the MY21 vehicle popping up with issues. @V8 Yankee you will still have drivetrain coverage, 5yr/60k miles.
  7. MBRP 2.5" Resonator-Back Exhaust 1.5L -- Thoughts & More

Goodbye warranty with a tune. Most every failure can be traced back to. Even worse are those Scorcher GT module things, just tricks the ECU with fake data.
  8. A lemon?

You can take it to any Ford dealer for warranty work.
  9. A lemon?

Lemon law kicks in after multiple shop visits and total days in the shop. A failed engine is not a automatic "lemon". It's man made, anything can happen. The rental thing, I would be happy to just have one provided. Consumers have such high expectations, stuff happens.
  10. Considering a Grown Up Bronco

I like the idea of a full-size Bronco but have zero use for one, plus they are far too big. I'm happy to see the OP is actually taking his off-road and suing it. Most big Broncos are just lifestyle vehicles kinda like Wrangler owners with the angry grill installed.
  11. I dread going up my driveway

Dunno my driveway is 15%, my 1.5 has no issues.
  12. So it happened😢…..

If you already had the drain tube installed it will stay in place. It just installs into an existing hole in the head. A tech can replace injectors without needing to even touch the drain tube. Consider the drain tube a permanent fixture.
  13. Electric Transmission

I just turn it off, plus I always use auto-hold. If you come to a stop and open the door the car goes into park automatically anyways.
  14. Brown Tires

Black Magic Bleche Wite. Spray, let it soak, and lightly scrub off. I do not use tire shine and like my tires to be a nice matte black natural color. Bleche Wite is the way to go.
  15. Move up (maybe) to a full size Bronco?

I wouldn't move up but rather add one to the garage. The BS for me is a highway runner for my business, that I actually enjoy driving. I would only consider a full size 2dr, badlands, v6, in green only if I actually had plans to use it off-road.
  16. 5Star Tuning installed on 2.0L EcoBoost Bronco Sport Badlands

The day I tune either of my cars is the day I assume 100% responsibility if I send a rod through my block. I have a vehicle service contract till 2027 or 125k miles on my RS, she is staying bone stock. I will also get one for the BS when I get closer to the end of the factory 3/36.
  17. 5Star Tuning Bronco Sport 1.5L EcoBoost dyno results

That down low power bump is pretty significant. Wish running a tune didn't kill the power train warranty.
  18. Fuel injector fire

Yes any part can fail........... I was stating that the vehicles are still built using what we assume are the exact same parts as before but with the addition of the fuel drain tube and software update off the assembly line.
  19. Fuel injector fire

So the vehicles that don't need the recall, they have the recall fix already in place then from the factory? The drain tube and software update is just part of the build now. So the fuel injectors can still fail. A hot engine bay plus fuel is never a good thing, assuming that's what caused the fire.
  20. Can I really be the only one?

Forms are always full of enthusiast and complainers. Go to any forum of any brand/model you will have both sides. Vehicles are man made, they will have issues. Today's consumers are unrealistic and entitled. I think people seem to forget how terrible cars were in the 70s, 80s age 90s........
