Soo I'm now very curious to see what's under the panels. I might poke around this weekend and see what we're working with. I have a badlands without the audio upgrade. So it seems there is a subwoofer area but did not come with a subwoofer. I really want to take a look and see if there is wiring...
I think the stock speakers sound pretty good for stock. I'm not impressed but they are far better than some other cars' stock speakers. Mine are still breaking in a little bit. I'd be interested to see the response curve. I think once I drive it past the 30,000-mile warranty I'm going to...
Oh my! You have almost the same issue! Mine just won't show the activate button after I add it back. I called the Fordpass people and they're basically useless. I'm going to try calling technical support instead tomorrow. Today everyone I talked to just said they ar having issues with fordpass...
Just starting this thread to consolidate future issues with fordpass. Ill start first. Removed and added back my bronco sport through fordpass. The button to activate vehicle doesn't show up unless I make a new account. The old account has my points and all my important info on it and so I'm...
I added and removed my vehicle from "my garage" the other day because It didn't update my mileage through ford.com but did through the app. I added it back and after I did that all the remote vehicle features never came back. I can no longer lock/unlock remote start, or check mileage and health...
I don't have the room to have anything in my apartment somebody would normally have in their garage. My apartment is like 500 sqft with two people living in it. I don't want to keep oily buckets in here
I'm having a hard time looking for a source on how a twin-clutch AWD system works. Can somebody explain it or point me to a good source? Is a twin-clutch AWD system the same as a limited-slip? Or is a limited-slip exclusive to a solid rear axle vehicle? Schematics? My friend who is a car guy is...
I've been sitting here reading my owners manual to determine when to change. It says nothing about changing the oil for the first time on the break in period page or the scheduled maintenance page. Did you know this thing has intelligent oil change intervals?!?! It senses the weather, driving...
I'm at 500 miles now and the transmission is shifting realllllly smoothly now. Super fast changes and acceleration is great. So wait, when do I want my first oil change? I have a badlands.
So I was going through the settings and I discovered you can change the sensitivity for the pre-collision warning. It's by default on high. I'll switch it to medium and see if that works next time I drive the same route
Yup! I needed the 3 peak snowflake. I got the cooper discoverer at3 4s in 235/65/r17. They are wonderful. I think they look sophisticated and also they are very quite
I was only on the highway for an hour each way and the rest of it was driving over mountain passes. I only kept track of the entire trip. There is a ton of altitude change over the duration but I got 25.7 mpg. I think you can get a lot better than the EPA estimate to be honest
I went on a 450 ish mile road trip in my badlands this weekend to go skiing and here are my random takeaways so far.
I was able to cover all bases, Snowy roads, straight-up black ice, windy roads, through the rain, and highway driving. Positives, I really love how you can lock the car into...
I have them still. Im going to try and sell them this week. The tire shop didn't want them because he said "I would offer you very little money for them, you should sell them on your own"
