Today I took my BS Badlands out on a 2-hour excursion to test out what she had in her. I'm really happy how Ford designed the underbody of my badlands. Today I high centered on a rotten log. I still had two wheels on the ground so I decided to just back off of it instead of going forward and...
there is a button on each of the headrests in the back seat that tilt them forward 90 degrees so you don't have to ajust the front seats. :) let me know when you get it
It's always ready to go into 4wd. The 4wd lock on the BL and FE makes it so it doesn't actively switch between fwd and 4wd. This is separate from the "diff lock". Not having the 4wd lock isn't much of a disadvantage especially on the road. The intelligent 4wd system is damn good on all trims
The badlands without the badlands package is really nice. I personally prefer cloth seats over leather. I plan on keeping mine a very long time and not really a fan of how leather ages long term in cars. I have more faith in the cloth seats looking newer for longer. The only thing I feel like...
I have no idea what I'm talking about. that was just a crackpot theory. But maybe the starter motor has capacitors because it stops and goes at traffic lights?
sometimes when I'm sitting in the car with the engine off I here stuff clicking on and off
I've been wondering this as well. My theories are the capacitors draining on the starter motor, fuel pump running in reverse, the motor in the steering wheel re-seating.
From what I read on the internet it probably just stuff cooling the turbo and engine after you turn it off. The turbo...
If you go into the dashboard screen menu you can select and then show the intelligent 4wd screen. It will show you what wheels the car is sending the power too. I found the 4wd will kick on in sharp turns with decent acceleration and anytime the car feels any bit of slip at all, like even when...
I love your insight Osco. I'm jealous you get to climb up some dirt roads to your house every day. It is cool to hear about you using the other modes. I haven't used any of my goat modes yet. I just keep forgetting to engage them
I hit 1,100 miles today as well. I got mine in early January...
My thoughts exactly. I did some off-roading the other day and went fast in parts. It absorbs the bumps really well for what it is. You can really feel the difference too when you lock it into 4wd. I LOVE how you can lock it into 4wd, its feels so satisfying
Its located on the passenger side in the trunk. Good to know where the amp was on your Subaru. I'm going to look under there soon and see what I'm working with
I reset the fordpass connect setting in the car menu, readded my car into the fordpass phone app, and then the next morning the activation came back. They must have solved their internal issue finally. It took them a little more than a week
My issue was solved. It truly was an issue on Ford's end. The activation button popped up on my app today and I got all the remote features back. In addition, I gave "My Journeys" permission to run in the background on my phone but it doesn't seem to want to record. Maybe it doesn't like that...
