I was happy to discover that there is an optional screen on the instrument cluster called "Off-Road" which displays roll, pitch, and tire angle. Makes me happy.
We got the Napier Sportz SUV tent from Ford. Less expensive than the same model on Amazon or the Napier site and arrived in one day.
As one does, we set it up in our living room to see how it worked. It is an enormous tent, much bigger and taller than I expected (see pictures. I am 6 feet). I...
The TGL step and the hitch tightener arrived today. The step is a substantial piece of metal - solid and heavy! The tightener works well. It lets me (6 feet) step up to reach the top. My wife (5 feet 4) says it will help her climb into the back. I think it was a good addition.

NavyBOFH posted an interesting idea about using Rigid mounts at the A-pillar. I am still looking at that. I don't want something tall on the roof if I can help it.
While I work in the field, I still hate the Internet at times. Trolls are so ill-mannererd and uninformed. Car Scoops posted the TH video on their site and the comments are just dumb.
I was telling people that I love 95% of what Ford did on this great car. It is a joy. There are little things like the up fitter switch that are missing.
I am driving BL+BL. I would characterize the ride exactly as you said. A bit of a truck feel but comfortable.
also, I’d say it is sort of like the Tardis: it seems bigger on the inside than it is. feels spacious to me.
Cant wait to hear and see what you think. I just got my BL+BL last week. Want to install a yaesu ft8900. Some interesting ideas have been posted forum about mounting antenna on a bracket at A pillar.

When I picked up our badlands, the dealer technology guy told us that there was going to be an update later this year to enable wireless apple car play. FWIW
there are a lot of good options for non moonroof option (at the 150 pound dynamic (moving) weight. Ford accessories has one From Yakima.
i was interested in the super light. But when I measured it out, at 90 inches long it would overhang the windshield a few inches. that just seems an unhappy...
Last night, we picked up our Cactus Gray BL+BL. Really like the color, especially with the black roof.
Funny observation: Cactus Gray is very close in color to a good margarita ;)
welcome. I’m in snohomish. You are in a lovely spot!
I picked up this book. It is very good. Can’t wait to try them out.
