My parts guy said something similar, that there are parts in the warehouses but cannot be released until Ford approves them and they are just being slow. He also said that Ford had kept the information about the Sport pretty tightly controlled so a lot of options are only now getting started...
When I look at the Diode Dynamics site, I see several variants of the bulbs. For example, there are three versions of the 7443. I cannot tell in your picture... which ones did you choose to use?
Getting ready for delivery of the BL+BL in a few weeks. Today, I talked with the parts guy about initial accessories: paint protection and body stuff.
Here are a few of his recommendations.
The Ford paint protection package would be adequate and then to use F11 Top Coat to protect the rest...
This is a good width. For example, if wanting to use the Gofast Superlight RTT, it is 90"x50" so that gives you a few inches to spare. I am pondering it but not sure.
I know we have seen Ford's diagram about antennas. Are we certain that a lip mount like the Diamond K400S-NMO is not an option? Would cause too much interference with the vehicle?
I would like not to mount an antenna on the roof if we can figure out another way... it would be nice to keep the roof clear to be able to have a basket or the gofast super lite tent. Hope there is another idea..
I watched a YouTube on how to diy plastidip lettering on a Land Rover. Is it really this easy? And is it durable enough? I think I agree with folks ( of course I haven’t seen my car yet). Here’s the link:
Let us know what you find out. I recall that MAD Industries said they use Nano Fusion Paint Protection Film. But I don't know where you can get that.
I think we were contrasting the roof basket and a roof box
Both require crossbars
I fixed the link for paint protection Here it is: https://accessories.ford.com/foil-protection-13059.html#2021/Bronco%20Sport
