Hello, I’m new to the Ford Bronco Sport and after changing the oil, I can’t confirm that I have oil pressure. There are no lights or warnings messages when I start it, but if I just turn on the ignition without starting the engine, there is no red oil can icon? AI says if there are no messages or strange sounds, then it’s probably ok?

The oil pressure gauge is only shown in Sport and Off Road modes, AFAIK. Unfortunately, the gauges are not user definable across drive modes.

I tried the other GOAT modes and still no Red Oil Can. Now I’m starting to figure out why the previous owner sold the BS with less than 7K on the odometer. I guess I’ll have to take it to the stealer.

Trust me, you’ll get an alert if the oil pressure gets too low. For the modes that have it, the gauge gives a useful reading. Keep it in Sport and it’ll always be there.

My second photo is engine off in Sport Mode. I don’t see any oil pressure light. Could anyone tell me where the Red Oil Can appears on their instrument cluster? I’m suspecting a burnt out icon.

Your guage cluster is an entire screen so there is no icon to burn out. I'm not familiar with the 25+ displays but if memers are saying an oil pressure icon exists in sport mode, they're probably correct. It could be that your engine isn't on so there wouldn't be any oil pressure to read or display.

Not sure why you're automatically assuming or worried you have no oil pressure after doing an oil change? If there's oil in there you're fine.

Some people have the “I need to panic” mindset.

OP: go to sport or off road mode, go to customize gauges, and find oil pressure. It’s there.

Guarantee you have nothing to worry about, oil pressure wise… also guarantee a nonexistent problem is why previous owner got rid of it.

My apologies… it’s oil temp that’s configurable.

Either way, nothing to worry about. If there was an oil pressure problem, you would have a fault light, that’s a given.

Thanks to all for the reassurance. I’ll stop worrying about it as long as my power train warranty is in effect. My concern was mostly caused by watching a tear down video of the 1.5L EcoBoost engine and it was pointed out that the engine has a belt driven oil pump. I have experienced a problem previously of a Ford truck that had a low oil pressure light on. The oil level was fine so the operator continued to drive it until the engine seized. It turned out to be oil pump failure.

It should display momentarily when the ignition is on,
That’s what most of my previous autos have done. Does anyone know where it appears on their BS instrument console? Upper left above the red battery symbol?

The vehicles with actual warning lamps used to almost universally perform a "bulb check" at key on before you started the engine. I don't own anything (yet) with a gas engine and a full digital cluster to be able to tell you if that's still normal. If the bulbs have been replaced by icons on a screen, it seems entirely possible they got rid of the "bulb check" routine.

On my 2022, seems that every icon is enabled (on) during the short start up sequence. Can’t speak for the ‘25-‘26 instrument cluster
