I'll probably buy tires from Ford soon, any suggestions between these 4?

I'm at 4/32" (or 4mm, they weren't clear) on my OEM Continental tires. I'm looking at moving to 235/65/17s.

These are the 4 I'm looking at:
Any suggestions either way? The G015s are being phased out but still available. The G018 are their replacement.s.

Ford is currently running a Buy 3 Get 1 for a buck until 3/31 and the Yokohamas have a $100 rebate. The others may have a rebate too but I'm looking at the A/T4s. I'm mainly driving on highway, 75mph to work, 50 min each way. But I would like to do some trail and beach driving which is why I'm looking at what TireRack calls On Road All-Terrain tires. A small part of me wants to get regular All-Season road tires (part of that is some guy at work said I didn't need AT tires since my BS was 2WD) but they're all around $200 each so I figured might as well get the ones I want.

You're BS is not 2WD, it's AWD. That guy at work is dead wrong. And let's pretend that it was for a moment, for any kind of trail AT tires would still be better for traction to the drive wheels, steering, and stopping. Plus a little more durable.

But again, you have one of the very best AWD systems available.

There isn't any testing on the Yokohama A/T4 GO19 since it's new but they shouldn't be bad. It looks like they made some improvements to the G015.

The G015s are ok, but weren't as smooth as I expected and I did have a puncture through the tread on a pretty easy logging road.

The Cooper Road + Trail have very good reviews and would probably be my choice of these four. Good mileage and traction ratings. Between these and the Nokian Outpost APT on what will go on my wife's Outback the next time she needs tires And I was thinking about these for my BS, but decided I should just go for a more aggressive tire instead.

The Falkens don't seem to have the longevity and they don't have the 3PMSF so aren't rated as traction tires, and sometimes we do get snow where I'm at and they can help a bit on the mountain passes when it's not bad enough to need chains.

Meeting that certification isn't nearly what I thought it was, nothing about steeing, stopping, or much of anything really. The only thing it has to do is have enough traction to accelerate better than the reference tires. I think 15%. However that's still something and better than nothing. Not as good as real winter tires, but again better than nothing.

Don’t forget Ford will typically meet plus 10% less on any tire they have that someone else local has. Too bad they can’t get the Falkens ATw3 235/65-17 still like Discount tire still has.

The Falken A/T Trail is a great tire. Got them on my wife's BS and they were as good on the highway as the Michelin tires from the factory.

My wife & I have had Cooper AT tires on two previous vehicles & had very good luck with them. The Coopers would be my choice of the four you listed.

No to Discoverer! Mine wore out too fast If you can get Yokohama cheaper than Falken go for it.

The Falkens don’t have the same load rating as the other tires as well as the Snowpeak rating

That's strange since the Falken website states the A/T Trail is 3 peak rated and the ones on my wife's BS is stamped on the sidewall as 3 peak.
The load range is SL which meets Ford's requirements. The XL load range is going to ride a little rougher/firmer. Unless there are plans to tow frequently, there's not much advantage to the XL load rating of the other tires.

I just read the info off the tirerack site but on others it says they are peak rated.
Strange, I just googled it and the tire rack specs are wrong as far as the 3 peak rating

Good catch. The Tire Rack site's info does say the A/T Trail is not 3 peak rated.

Ford Bronco Sport I'll probably buy tires from Ford soon, any suggestions between these 4? 1774395799147-lv

But, if you zoom in on the picture of the tire, you can clearly see the 3 peak symbol.

Interesting about the Falken. I could've linked to the wrong one. Discount Tire shows the XL rated one as 3PMS.

The XL has the 3PMS. I'll be getting the XL versions probably. On my way home today I was thinking if I should get AT style tires after all. Just getting wishy washy.

My son in law put these on his RAV4 TRD and likes them very much. He drives about 100 miles per day including during the winter in Wisconsin.

I ended up going with the Geolandar A/T4s. I hope I made the right decision. The G015s had really good reviews for on road use and pretty good off road performance when needed. The A/T4s are supposed to be their successors and better, just very little reviews.

They should be in Monday and Tuesday I have to go out of town so I'll see how they are on the highway.
