I finally broke down and got some plastic ramps that were on sale, they really helped when I dropped my oil fill cap on the crv.

Yeah I'm going to have to take it out. The skid plate is a pretty large area. I was thinking it might roll out down the highway but it also looks pretty sealed up. I don't want it bouncing around and getting somewhere it shouldn't be.

don’t feel too bad. I dropped one of the nuts that secure the redline hood struts down inside the hood it was a miracle that I managed to retrieve it but it took about an hour.

Were you able to get it out from the top? Did you have to take the skid plate off?

it was literally inside the hood sandwiched between the two layers of metal I had to fish it out with some extra sticky tape on the end of a piece of wire from the hole it fell through.

Added the husky low profile window visors. Was gonna do in channel, but I like how streamlined these look. First time ever using stick on visors.

Nahhh! It’s a 10-15 minute job. Put a warm jacket on, and some latex gloves covered with regular gloves. You got this!

Well I braved the cold and installed the kit. I chose the redline it was only $30 more than the Chinese one I was originally going to get. I liked the look of the attachments better. The quality was obvious and the installation was very easy with the excellent instructions provided.

Same thing I did. Incredibly easy install. And the hood opens further too!

Got the hood gaskets installed. Can’t (but can) believe they don’t include these anymore. Super easy to install… like thirty seconds

Same benefit as all other gaskets.

I’ve read it helps to stiffen up the hood shake. And it’ll also reduce dirt and water from getting in.
