Hey fam—let’s fire up a big, cozy Christmas thread. We’re swapping holiday drive stories and this year’s plans so everyone can snag new ideas for routes, playlists, pit stops, and goofy traditions. Think of it as a mash-up of car culture and Christmas cheer. ✨

What to share (pick a few):
• This year’s plan: where from → where to, dates, who’s riding along
• Best memory from a past Christmas drive (funny, chaotic, heartwarming… bring it)
• Must-stop spots: coffee, pie, sledding hills, light displays, small-town diners
• Rig traditions: snacks, car games, holiday playlists/podcasts
• Winter tips you swear by: tires/PSI, wipers, warm layers, kid/pet hacks
• Vehicle deets: make/model/year + any road-trip mods

Photos welcome—maps, dash shots, tree-on-the-roof, driveway light shows, diner pie, snow angels… all of it. Let’s build a thread full of ideas for anyone hitting the road this Christmas.

Your turn: where’s your sleigh headed? 🎅🛷👇

Since our BSBL is sitting at the dealer awaiting either a trans rebuild or a new trans, we plan on flogging the loaner with the 1.5 L engine.

Kind of where we are, too. As the "family elders" (Gram and Papa), we host the family for all holidays. No travel for us.

Have about a five mile round trip to wife’s cousin for Christmas dinner. Unfortunately, wife won’t go away for the holidays — yet! In SoCal, so doubt I’ll need goat modes 😜

Big trip was Thanksgiving to my son’s in San Antonio, then Christmas at My daughter’s only seventy miles away in Jensen Beach, Fl. No snow, just Snow birds! Much more dangerous .

Going up to Blue Mountain this weekend with a buddy and then visiting the family 4 hours north of Toronto for Christmas. It'll be nice driving in some snow as we don't have much in Toronto.

Feel your pain. My 2023 Bronco Sport got me to within three miles away from home after driving 465 miles. Then the transmission totally failed. I love my Bronco Sport and it is nice to drive when it works but two water pumps, a battery, one catalytic converter and one transmission makes me wonder what's next? My wife convinced me to keep it since it's paid off but I wonder how long that will last. In one night recently I had the catalytic converter fail and make an awful exhaust noise and smell, then I had the left rear tire go flat, then after all that I discovered the water pump leaking again. I will be glad when home is finally within a normal driving distance.
