The 235/65R17.Which tire are you specifically talking about? The 225/60R-18 or 235/65R-17? The former is an all-season and standard on the OBX, the latter is all-terrain and is only included with the Sasquatch Package.

The 2025 OE Tires have been produced for awhile now in the Wrangler logo and were not made to Ford specs for the Bronco Sport except to remove the Wrangler logo - this was discussed by talking to a marketing person in Canada at the factory that produces these tiresAdd in if the GYs are made with Ford Specs like the Falken AT3Ws, the GYs may be a better on road tire for braking, wet roads etc..
Those reviews are for the OE tires equipped on the Toyota Tacoma in a 265/70R18. Apples to oranges. The 235/65R17.
May 22, 2025 2.2* out of 5 āThis tire came standard on the Trailhunter. They didn't look bad, in fact the sidewalls looked pretty aggressiveā¦āJust user reviews for the tire on Tire Rack. Seems to be a common theme but different vehicles using the tires. The link for the tire which shows OE with my BS selected.
Thanks for the reply. I was just looking at the reviews, so I figured I'd ask some folks here who actually have the tire. I wasn't aware of the size for the Tacoma; I have never owned one. Those reviews are for the OE tires equipped on the Toyota Tacoma in a 265/70R18. Apples to oranges.
Besides, hydroplaning is the almost always entirely the driver's fault, not the tires.
Totally agree and I have the FALKEN WILDPEAK A/T4W Item number 28841790 Tire size 235/65R17 purchased at Discount Tire last summer $196 per tire, out the door $1,036.54. I would have purchased the Goodyear OE tires but they were not available at that time without the Wrangler logo. They became available early in 2025I'm having trouble finding reviews on this size. The Bronco Reddit has pretty poor reviews on larger sizes of this tire. I might opt for the Falkens, they seem well reviewed and are really cheap at the moment, probably because the AT3W has been replaced by the 4.
I'd hate to grab 4 of these and find out they aren't up to snuff in the Northeast Winters/weather. Thanks for the information.
One other thing is I believe the larger size is the Light Truck rated tire which is much different from the SL Goodyears used on some 2025 Bronco SportsI'm having trouble finding reviews on this size. I just bought five AT3Ws and asked about Discount Tire AT3W inventory and was told DT has a lot in stock and now with DT buying Tire Rack, maybe even more. One other thing is I believe the larger size is the Light Truck rated tire which is much different from the SL Goodyears used on some 2025 Bronco Sports
DT bought TR in 2021, fully merged April of last year. Gotta keep up, man!I just bought five AT3Ws and asked about Discount Tire AT3W inventory and was told DT has a lot in stock and now with DT buying Tire Rack, maybe even more.
The $147ea AT3W is hard to pass up.
My backup choice was Yoko Geolander G015s.

Last summer DT told me their total inventory across the US for the Falken Wildpeak AT3w OEM (ā21-ā24 Bronco Sport optional tire) OEM part# 59000690 was under 800 I believeI just bought five AT3Ws and asked about Discount Tire AT3W inventory and was told DT has a lot in stock and now with DT buying Tire Rack, maybe even more.

US Airlines are still cleaning up mergers from 15 years ago, so we should just be patient, I guess.
Both are still getting things straight according to DT's customer service rep. One website soon.
