To get the tire Part # (aka Product Code) and tire weight I spoke with a person in the purchasing department at the Goodyear Canada, Inc. manufacturing plant in Napanee, Ontario, Canada where the tire is made. This department is responsible for working with Ford to specify the OE tire used on the MY 2025 Bronco Sports and Mavericks.

There are two different but similar sounding names for the tire:

Goodyear Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17
- This is the OE tire described above in Post #1 and is a new OE tire for 2025 MY Bronco Sports and Mavericks (available with specific packages)
- This tire will not have “Wrangler” on the tires sidewall

Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17
- This is an existing replacement tire

Some of the key features of the OE Goodyear Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17 tire and why it was selected include:

Rolling resistance (which affects fuel economy)

Handling characteristics

(tread life mileage is important to the end consumer but not one of the main factors vehicle manufacturers select a tire)

Some of you probably by now have googled the Part # (aka Product Code):
710004933

And yes there will be many listings for the Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17 tire and the pictures for those might not look like the same tread pattern as you see for the OE tire on MY 2025 Bronco Sports and Mavericks.

when I asked the purchasing person about this (see Post #2) I didn’t get a satisfactory answer why none show the tire without Wrangler on the side wall

What I suspect is the tires are the same tire except for the sidewall difference and over time we will see more Goodyear Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17 under the 710004933 number and without Wrangler on the sidewall but I cannot confirm that

So if you want the OE tire, look for the 710004933 Product Code but only purchase the tire without Wrangler on the sidewall or contact your tire retailer (like @Discount Tire) for the best and most up-to-date accurate OE tire info

Here’s a decent pic of the Goodyear Territory RT All Terrain 235 65 R17 tire for Bronco Sports (pic settings altered for slightly better readability) taken from a 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands with the Sasquatch package

The tire does not have Wrangler on the sidewall

This is exactly what they did 4 years ago with the Full size Sasquatch tire. Since the full size was competing directly with the Jeep Wrangler, that seems more understandable. I’m guessing it’s more than just a name change but that’s based on my manufacturing knowledge, not anything else. And we all know Ford doesn’t always see things so clearly.

I believe I heard that Ford, etc. didn't want the Wrangler name on the tires.

Advertising the Jeep Wrangler name wasn't a good thing.

Maybe it was a dream I had!

It would not be the first time:

“..for the 2021 Ford Bronco, Goodyear removed "Wrangler" branding from the tire sidewall that faces outward, but retained it on the inner side, to appease Ford's concerns..”

Perhaps one of the 2025 owners with the Goodyear tires will have a look on the inside of the tires sidewall?

Inside on the 21 full size tire is the same as the outside. No Wrangler.
