This works like a charm on my 2025 BSBLSQ: below 15 mph its will not chime.
I never disabled it on my truck and not going to do it on the BS, either. Next month marks 4 years I've had my F150 and it has 23k miles. I wear my seatbelt on the highway, but my commute is mostly 2 miles each way going to and from work in Miami traffic, so I don't wear it most of the time. When I'm not wearing my seatbelt, I just use this. For the F150's and Lightnings, Ford coded the latest IPMA software to prevent lane centering & lane keep assist (and Bluecruise if equipped) from working without the seatbelt on, so using this allows all my driver assist features to work. Chances are, a future IPMA update for the 2025 and up BS will bring the same behavior over to these vehicles.

I'm pretty sure this can be done. Someone with a 2025 and FORScan just needs to try it.

Edit: I am referring to the seatbelt chime; ASS most likely cannot be disabled properly with just FORScan on 2025 models.
ASS can be disabled with FORScan on ā€˜25’s. Did it on mine.

Haven't hit 1K miles yet, but everything is "as hoped" so far. VERY glad that I bought the Sasquatch package with my OBX. Added lighting and used the 4 WONDERFUL aux switch/relays.

I just want to start by saying that I love my 2025 BS OBX, but man, has it been a frustrating experience. Bought it at the end of April, and it’s been at the dealership for repairs since June 4th, when a check engine light popped on for a faulty high pressure fuel pump (2800 miles).

It was ā€œfixedā€ for a few days before It basically lost power on the highway (barely able to accelerate past 55 on a 70mph highway), and I had to pay to have it towed back to the dealership that has been working on it (which happened to be 1mi outside of the range of Ford’s Roadside Assistance of 50 miles).

The original problem was a faulty high pressure fuel pump, but that didn’t solve anything. Then I waited for a month while a new PCM was manufactured by Ford, it was installed and everything was good for a week until I lost power on the highway. Thankfully the dealership was able to get me into a rental car pretty much on day 1, and my service advisor has been great. Ford Corporate knows about the situation, and I’m waiting for a call back to see what possible next steps are.

I’m just super bummed about this whole experience. If any of you guys have had experiences like this I’d be open to advice on next steps.

Sorry for the long post, but I really needed to vent. My wife is so tired of hearing me talk about this silly car.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear this! I've had my 2025 BS OBX since January. I ordered it the end of 2024. Luckily, I haven't had any of the issues you have had with yours or any major issues, so far! The only issue I've had so far is a little glitch with the informant screen will once in a while switch to the main screen, then it will go back to the screen i was using. The only problem i have with this is, if i was using the screen for navigation and it did that, I may miss my turn, if it was getting close. I'm guessing as time goes on, they may have a recall on it. In your case, I wouldn't be surprised they issue you a lemon law, good luck!!

If you are able to get the codes from the dealership and post them here for that power loss case it may help other owners with similar issue once you have the issue resolved and know the final solution

Sounds like you have had:
1. check engine light for a faulty high pressure fuel pump (2800 miles), fuel pump replaced but didn’t solve any issues
2. New PCM installed but didn’t solve any issues

Replacing the fuel pump may have eliminated the faulty high pressure fuel pump check engine light issue?

just be sure, the PCM you referred to is the: Powertrain Control Module ?

Venting is fine… you have a lot of issues on a brand new vehicle !

I am VERY happy with my new BS. 14 years of F150s. Smaller is awesome.

Had an F150 as a one-day loaner waiting on delivery of my BS after trading my Soul (Kia, not mortal). Felt like an AM General HMMWV with a fancy interior. The passenger seat was in another ZIP Code from me.

BS Badlands with Sasquatch.
A performance tune will improve low-end torque, throttle response, transmission shifts and disable auto start/stop all in one shot. Not every one will be comfortable with tuning a vehicle due to possible warranty implications, so that part is up to the individual owners to decide if they want to go that route or not.

In terms of the seatbelt reminder and navigation instructions on the cluster, that can most likely be turned off with a program called FORScan. Again, this is something many owners will not be comfortable doing. Particularly people who are not tech savvy will find using FORScan to be very intimidating. Some of your gripes have a solution. It is just a matter of how deep down the rabbit hole you are willing to go to get them "fixed".
While this is mostly true, a tune can't change the physical gearing of the transmission and the large jump from 3rd to 4th. It can change when it shifts, and that might make it feel a little less but it's still going from 3.01 in third to 1.92 in fourth. The only other jump that is almost as large is first to second, 4.69 to 3.31.

As to using Forscan, this is something that shouldn't have had to be done as it should be factory options. I might break down and give it a try though if it gets annoying enough.

I'm getting emails from my dealer to schedule my first maintenance and I've had it only two months with less than 1000 miles, so why? I got NO service freebies with my purchase and this looks like BS to me.

Just ignore them. To be honest, I'm surprised you haven't gotten offers to trade it in yet. ;)

As far as maintenance, unless it's a lease or you purchased a maintenance plan, the best you can hope for are periodic coupons. I don't know of dealers that give away anything service-related. They should give you a free wash after every service visit, though (at least all the dealers I've bought from did that much).
