Aeroskin® Hood Protector, Smoke by Husky Liners®Which wind deflector is that?
Thank you!Aeroskin® Hood Protector, Smoke by Husky Liners®
Following because this is my most annoying thing. I don’t mind the seat belt chime or even turning off the auto stop/start. And I know this pop-up image on the cluster goes off at a certain speed but it’s annoying.Has anyone figured out how too turn off the seat belt warning pop up on the instrument cluster so I don't wear out the OK button on the steering wheel every time I start the vehicle?
I'm pretty sure this can be done. Someone with a 2025 and FORScan just needs to try it.Following because this is my most annoying thing. And it covers the "do you want to return to Eco Mode" option!Following because this is my most annoying thing. I don’t mind the seat belt chime or even turning off the auto stop/start. And I know this pop-up image on the cluster goes off at a certain speed but it’s annoying.
YeahI don’t like that either because by the time I read the note and try to figure out how to say “yes, I want to return to Eco mode,” the alert goes off and it switches back to Normal mode. And it covers the "do you want to return to Eco Mode" option!
I have a 2025 XLT AWD Maverick now [had a BS BB] with the 2.0 EB like Your Badlands has and i have noticed the lag it's like it doesn't downshift quick enough.A few minor things (I hope are just minor).
Sometimes the fog lights won't turn on when the lights are in automatic mode. If I change to on or off then back to auto I can turn the fog lights on and off. Other times it just works.
It's a noticeable and almost rough shift at lower speeds, I think it's the shift from 3rd to 4th because of the large gap in the gear ratio. I with Ford would have had them closer together. Maybe made third a bit higher and kept all nine gears with a very low first only used when in one of the off road modes, or when manually selected.
There is a lot of lag sometimes when accelerating. Especially noticeable when slowing down nearly to a stop then accelerating again. Like when slowing to a light and it changes just before I get to it. But also when giving it gas other times unless I give it a lot of gas.
I really don't like normal and slippery modes having the same blue background. Especially when they are only one click apart on the dial. I accidentally drove about ten miles to work a few days ago after I must have rotated the knob moving things around the cab. I only noticed because when I stopped for a soda on the way, I got the, "do you want to return to slippery mode," when I started back up. Now I keep checking the small symbol displayed to make sure the bucking bronco is what's displayed.
The occasional whine/moan when backing up that everyone has.
And some of the fit and finish is a bit disappointing. Like when pressing the buttons to turn off the silly auto start feature or camera button. The entire section of panel moves. And in the rear side window the headliner isn't secured very well.
I do wish that I could disable the seatbelt notice, or at least make it only last a couple seconds.
I also would like an option to not have directions on the dash. I know I need to turn left 500 feet ahead, it's displayed on that huge 13.2 inch screen. I'd rather have whatever I chose to display be fully visible.
And I wish it was an option to disable stop/start. I know it's supposed to save gas and the AGM battery is able to accept a much higher charge current than the old SLA, but I wonder if the people who like it have never had to drive in rush hour, especially on the metered on-ramps where your engine will stop and start a dozen times in a hundred yards, and when the green for you is only a second, and you have two other people beside you waiting for you to go instantly or they will jump ahead.
Too bad that for inside lights it's all or nothing when you open the door. I don't really need the back seats or cargo area lit up when I open the front door.
I really wish that the wiring for the built in switches was easily accessible. I haven't taken the wheels off to look behind the liners, but I haven't even found the one that's inside the engine compartment. I think it's in one of the harnesses. It would have been nice if they were all inside, ends capped, and just clipped to easy to see locations.
I haven't had the hood shake or bouncing that some people complain about, even with my air deflector. Might be something that's been fixed on the '25, or maybe there are many that need to adjust their hood stops.
Lights are nice and bright, fog lights work well for lighting up the sides of the road like fog lights should do.
Try using premium gas. Might make it a bit smoother, Haven't noticed what your noticing on mine but I've been running premium. All though I do notice the downshifting when slowing down. Just seems normal to me. idkA few minor things (I hope are just minor).

A performance tune will improve low-end torque, throttle response, transmission shifts and disable auto start/stop all in one shot. Not every one will be comfortable with tuning a vehicle due to possible warranty implications, so that part is up to the individual owners to decide if they want to go that route or not. It's a noticeable and almost rough shift at lower speeds, I think it's the shift from 3rd to 4th because of the large gap in the gear ratio. My 2020 Escape did it too. Got very used to it. Barely notice it now, in the '25 Badlands.Like I said I don't even notice, Maybe I'm the only one that doesn't mind it. Who knows to each their own. Just saying
My husband was constantly, accidentally hitting the menu button and changing it, on our Escape. Drove me crazy! Hasn't happened in the BD yet, but we've only had it for 2 weeksThe only glitchy thing I've noted is that my dash settings seem to keep reverting to factory. I'll change them to my preferred (Trip 1, Trip 2, Tire Pressure), and after a few days, back to default. Not sure if it's something I'm doing, but I'll have to pay closer attention. I have noted it doesn't like a lot of rapid changes to parking brake/gear shift/OK'ing the popups, etc.
This works like a charm on my 2025 BSBLSQ: below 15 mph its will not chime.I'm pretty sure this can be done. Someone with a 2025 and FORScan just needs to try it.
Edit: I am referring to the seatbelt chime; ASS most likely cannot be disabled properly with just FORScan on 2025 models.
