I just got the Falken A/T4wās put on today. Coming from the stock Continental CrossContacts I could feel the extra weight when accelerating. Itās not to the point of feeling overly laggy but I could feel the difference. I didnāt do a ton of driving so curious how itāll feel on the highway tomorrow.
Yikes thatās low mileage for shocks to go. Havenāt heard much about Rough Country shocks but Bilstein would be a good upgrade.
Have you tried calling Ford directly about it? Iāve heard sometimes they will still cover things if youāre just out of warranty.
I donāt think Iāve ever really noticed the road noise. We live in a flat windy area and drive on the highway quite a bit but Iāve had no issues holding a conversation with anyone. Iāve never had to raise my voice. It is a boxy vehicle though so certainly it will have more wind noise than...
This is very true. I think reviews are mostly concentrated on off-road capabilities because it really stands out in this regard, especially for its class of compact SUVs, whereas there are quite a few better options when it comes strictly to highway driving.
But Iāve driven in my BSBL for hours...
I have a 25 BSBL. Iāve only had it for just under 3 months though. I donāt think thereās anything more I can add that hasnāt been said already but ya body-roll is noticeable around tight corners if you donāt slow down a bit but itās not anything horrendous. It still has great road manners and...
Looks awesome! How does it ride on the highway now? Any noticeable differences? Iām debating a lift but I also didnāt want to sacrifice ride quality on the highway too much since we do a lot of long trips to visit family.
Just had a downpour in Alberta last weekend and drove through legit flooding on the highway. Kept in normal mode and I was so impressed with how my BL handled. I still have the stock Continental CrossContact ATR tires on, which are not anything amazing but traction was great through the water...
Congrats!! Colour looks great. Also a fellow Albertan here but in the south. My BS Badlands has been great on terrible roads. Iāve done some exploring in the Rockies.
I put the aeroskin II on my ā25 Badlands and itās really reduced the amount of bugs on the windshield. I havenāt had any issues with rock chips yet. The ā25 BLs have insulated hoods so the vibrations are pretty minimal. I did notice it after putting it on but itās because I was looking for it...
Ya that too. I briefly looked at used and was shocked by the prices. Financing rates also suck for used vehicles. In the end I went with Ford because you can negotiate price, finance rates were the lowest Iāve seen and honestly I really enjoyed driving the Bronco Sport. Iām just hoping it...
This š. I looked at Toyota before getting my BS Badlands but new models are also not without issues plus theyāre more expensive plus the finance rates are high. No winning these days.
