I just checked and it turns on automatically after you turn the car off, much like the auto start stop. So it seems as though itās meant to be on. š¤·š»
This made me realize I lve had trailer sway control on since the day I bought it. Does it usually come from factory being turned on? Turned it off this morning cause it seems weird to have sensors working harder than they need to
These sports love to creak squeak click and rattle when seasons change man. Every time temps change, warm to cold or vice versa, I get new sounds from random places. Currently my driver seat has decided itās gonna squeak from under neath and Iām just accepting it
I did have sounds coming...
Yep me too. Been intermittent for a few months. Iām just under 30k. Notice it mainly happens if idling for longer than 5-10 minutes
Hasnāt done it for a while so Iāll deal with it once itās more permanent
This is my write up on installing the oem ford trailer module but that may differ from factory

do you think if I plug in the trailer light tester It would be a viable option to test this theory?
I donāt have a trailer to plug into. On my lunch break Iāll give it a shot. Considering I did absolutely nothing with forscan Iād be surprised if anything automatically happens
I went a little over board with my permanent install lol. I routed a power cord along the interior trim. from engine bay through interior out bottom of cargo area to rear bumper

Pros is your not putting miles on it or using gas purely to charge the battery
cons is if your battery is as low as you say, itāll take a long time to bring to 100% with a 2 amp trickle charger.
i permanently installed the noco genius 2d due to my drive to work being only 12 minutes which...
Iām just a guy, so take this with a grain of salt, but Iād be willing to bet your battery isnāt handling those colder temps to well and the voltage drop upon start up (also with thicker viscosity from those temps I would assume requires more battery load) causing the computer to be like whoa...
