for the same price (or close to it) I think I'll go for the Ford performance
At the time our Ford Performance warehouse couldn't give me an ETA for the kit I wanted so I went OEM. The good old covid parts back orders!

Had my eye on a 26 F150 for a while, dealer offers $5k over book for my 21 BB so I pulled the trigger and will be saying good by in a couple of months. Production (I had to order, no Reg cab, short box V8 4x4s to be had) is slated for 19-Jan. It [should] be delivered at the end of March. Already considering the performance exhaust and tune through Ford which will not impact the factory warrantee. I'm stoked to say the least!

Glad it's a 2026 model !
Hope it doesn't have these problems.......

Recent Ford F-150 recalls primarily involve 2021–2025 models, focusing on serious safety risks like rear axle bolt failures leading to potential rollaways or power loss, and transmission issues. Key recalls include over 100,000 trucks (2023-2025) for broken axle bolts and earlier 2021-2023 models for similar axle, park gear, and safety issues.
Every vehicle manufacturer has problems.

Just can't win it seems.

We have enjoyed our 2021 BS BB, but life is changing with grandbaby #2 arriving. One car seat was not bad, it will be impossible for us to take two grandbabies with the Chicco car seats we have, leaving no comfortable passenger and driver space up front.
Time to let our BS go and move on to a larger, more spacious suv. Have our eyes on a used Toyota Highlander with a premium package.
This forum has been a wealth of information and inspiration. It has helped us several times with our BS. Farewell and enjoy your rides!
Look at Ford Explorer, before you decide.
