Roof Rack System

I am currently in search of a Roof Rack System. I came across this one:

However, my Bronco Sport has a Sun Roof and I don’t know how I feel about losing access to it. I’ve talked to RC and they say it doesn’t give enough space for it to work properly, has anyone WITH A SUN ROOF purchased it and regrets losing access to their sun roof? Or anyone has found other Roof Rack Systems that would give access to the Sun Roof without it costing an arm and a leg? Thank you

You may have to buy some crossbars and use a platform to keep your sunroof accessible and get a similar outcome. But you lose a ton of the 100lbs dynamic weight limit doing it that way.

I recommend the Yucca Roof Rack. It's bit pricey, but not the most expensive, and will accommodate your sun roof.

I went with a Rhino rack pioneer platform before and was told it would fit. It did not.

The yucca not only went on easier but looks sharp and most importantly allowed me to use my sunroof.

Can you take a measurement from the top of the roof, to the top of the rack? I need to see if I would have enough clearance for my garage.

Just measured mine (Big Bend) and it rests at around 71 inches to 71 1/4 at about 36 psi.

Thanks! It should fit then. I have the Badlands Sasquatch. Garage entrance is around 77 in I think
