I’m toying with the idea of getting a graphics shop to do up a set of these, at least the side stripes, sized for the sport. Even if yes, I’m definitely more subdued. And for many of the same reasons you are, just looks cleaner longer, even if it isn’t, in 6 months of slush.
Yep.... something on that order is the other piece of the puzzle. Had debated on a "hood scoop", leaning tho' towards the matte black graphic, like Rocky Mtn Graphics, with a twist. Familiar with the "other auto companies" Trail Hawk Pkg? They changed up their hood graphic for 2022. A section of the black is cut-out along the left edge and Trail Hawk is inserted in Red. So... I think Badlands in Red might look nice with the Matte Black hood graphic. And hope to tie all together with red tow hooks, and if I can find Badland Door Decals in Black/White like Glamdring70's - with a touch of Red. Otherwise the black and white will work.

I got the Hot Pepper Red BL on Order. I do agree about so many colors being used. Love the black roof, I'm hoping to get with the Hot Pepper Red. But I do wish the Bronco Letters were black. No idea why ford chose WHITE letter to go on the back of a Hot Pepper Red Color when it would look so much better in black. That will be one of the first things I change in mine as soon as I take delivery. Changing those to black or overlaying black vinyl to have a white outline around then black.

I think you’ll love it but I understand where you’re coming from - too many colors can get busy. But you can always change the wheels, remove the emblems and/or plastidip the Bronco lettering.

I’m so glad I landed on Iconic Silver by dumb luck (it was the only BS available). All silver with the dark grey wheels and grill and the grey cloth interior. It all goes well together and the white Bronco lettering is more subtle on silver. Something bright is important (to me) on a vehicle with zero chrome accents.

BTW - I think Velocity Blue looks even better in person.
I’m in AZ and got Iconic Silver as well (same reason…. And wife likes it). It is the best with our dust color. Hardly shows unless you got it REALLY dirty.

I think it will look great. Besides, the only opinion that really matters is yours. Perhaps one of the benefits of getting old, you really don’t give a “@&$%” what anyone else thinks.

Yes, though not familiar enough to know they’d changed up the graphics. Now that sounds like you have some sweet plan going! Looking forward to seeing it when completed.

...she thinks car lots should be organized by color - and she would head to the "Bluuuue Lot".
That's a brand for my wife. As in:

WIFE'S FRIEND: I heard you got a new car.
WIFE: Yeah, I love it!
WIFE'S FRIEND: Really? What did you get?
WIFE: A blue one!

Your wife is completely correct in her explaination - It's a lifestyle. I've never owned a vehicle in any other color. Trading the Area 51 for a Velocity Blue is a strategic move to drive the ultimate blue.

Yeah silver really hides the dirt. It’s high pollen season here in NC and everyone else’s cars are just green.

I like it. Are they vinyl overlays that lay on top of the originals, or did you remove the originals and add those in their place. I'm new to the world of graphics, yeah, there a few miles/roads behind me  And curious where you got them. Like the idea, have another color combination in mind, those would work great tho' if I can't find the color in mind. Thx
IDK. It isn't mine. Here's a direct link to the post over there.

I placed an order for a Velocity Blue Badlands with Premium and Towing Packages. It'll have the body color door handles and I also wanted the gray roof (to tie together with the wheels). With the blue exterior, brown interior, gray roof and wheels, black grille, and white logos, I'm getting a little nervous that there are too many colors happening. Not to mention the bright yellow Badlands badge. Theoretically, none of these colors should clash. I sat in the premium package interior and loved it, saw the Velocity Blue in person and loved it, but have never seen all of these things together. I'm an outgoing person and want this build to catch some eyes, but I'm afraid I've thrown too much paint on the pallate. Am I overthinking this or do I need to tone down the colors a bit when my order arrives?
As you can see, I got the black roof, but the ebony/roast interior. I‘m willing to bet you love it just the way you ordered it.
