I placed an order for a Velocity Blue Badlands with Premium and Towing Packages. It'll have the body color door handles and I also wanted the gray roof (to tie together with the wheels). With the blue exterior, brown interior, gray roof and wheels, black grille, and white logos, I'm getting a little nervous that there are too many colors happening. Not to mention the bright yellow Badlands badge. Theoretically, none of these colors should clash. I sat in the premium package interior and loved it, saw the Velocity Blue in person and loved it, but have never seen all of these things together. I'm an outgoing person and want this build to catch some eyes, but I'm afraid I've thrown too much paint on the pallate. Am I overthinking this or do I need to tone down the colors a bit when my order arrives?

*looks out window at BS, thinks "yeah, that's subtle "*
Just enjoy it!
Thank you! I'll embrace the "BAM." If there's anyone qualified to give this advice, it's a Cyber Orange owner. ?

I think you’ll love it but I understand where you’re coming from - too many colors can get busy. But you can always change the wheels, remove the emblems and/or plastidip the Bronco lettering.

I’m so glad I landed on Iconic Silver by dumb luck (it was the only BS available). All silver with the dark grey wheels and grill and the grey cloth interior. It all goes well together and the white Bronco lettering is more subtle on silver. Something bright is important (to me) on a vehicle with zero chrome accents.

BTW - I think Velocity Blue looks even better in person.

I try to be a pretty subtle guy so chose silver, with gray roof to tie together the wheels & grill, keep things as neutral yet interesting as possible with the brown interior.

Though I’m not outgoing enough to choose a bright color, honestly I think you’ll love it once yours ee it in person. A decade or two of shades of gray in cars (that’s all there is here) really means you’re not used to seeing anything interesting any more. Teal, purple, green, remember when those were all common colors for cars? A blue Ford always looks good.

I live in a region where I see a ton of test mules and bronco/bronco sports on the roads. I sincerely think every color was well designed and suits every taste. I think you will love it. The emblems, trim badges etc are pretty subtle. Worrying over semantics. Enjoy the ride.

If you're asking for opinions, personally, I wouldn't go with all those colors. It definitely looks like too much to me. Don't let me sway you though, if you think you'll love it. That's what's most important, if you'll like it. You do you. Personally, I wouldn't do the carbonized gray roof with any of the colors unless it was shadow black or alto blue, both of which are dark enough that the contrasting roof might work. But even then, if I had ordered a badlands, I would have only ordered either a carbonized gray or alto blue body, and kept the black roof with either. But if you love the velocity blue and the gray roof, go for it, and enjoy it :)

Velocity Blue pairs excellent with both greys and browns. The exterior doesn't have brown tones unless you add them. I wouldn't stress about the Badlands badging, it's about as noticeable as the amber signal on the front. But if you wanted, you could swap the amber for a clear lens and amber bulb and either remove the Badlands badge (sticker) or go over it with a black/white version I have seen people starting to do. Here's one example from the forum Faceplace group that gives a really clean look if you want to decolor:

I agree the lux package interior is absolutely terrible. It’s the main reason I haven’t pulled the trigger on a trade for a badlands.
I want a badlands with 360+ but no luxury package. It’s like finding a unicorn.

That's what I ordered. I like the ebony/area 51 interior, or at least I hope I will when it gets here.

Elegance - It will look great, it is your Vehicle!
My wife would love it, she thinks car lots should be organized by color - and she would head to the "Bluuuue Lot".
I tend to be more like MJE, on the subdued side, settling in to silver/charcoals and white. I find they tend to "look" cleaner in the winter, taking a bit longer to show dirt / salt grime. But every so often I'll throw bright red in the mix. White is up in the rotation, and have some ideas to add a bit of color. Saw in the Forum where somebody had one of the same ideas and executed it, front tow hooks done in bight red. Have a couple other ideas, need to find a vinyl graphics source to work with.

I like it. Are they vinyl overlays that lay on top of the originals, or did you remove the originals and add those in their place. I'm new to the world of graphics, yeah, there a few miles/roads behind me  And curious where you got them. Like the idea, have another color combination in mind, those would work great tho' if I can't find the color in mind. Thx

I’m toying with the idea of getting a graphics shop to do up a set of these, at least the side stripes, sized for the sport. Even if yes, I’m definitely more subdued. And for many of the same reasons you are, just looks cleaner longer, even if it isn’t, in 6 months of slush.

I don't think anybody will think a thing about it unless you point it out to them. The outside will look sharp. The inside will look sharp, and nobody is likely to pause to count how many colors are in play.

I agree....I have an Alto Blue BL on order with the black roof. But that's just my own cup of tea.
