Anyone see anything yet? I’m surprised nothing has come out yet.

How is there still nothing available. I don't want to have to buy a welder and fab something up for myself much

It took years for aftermarket stuff to show up for the KL Cherokee and it's still fairly limited. The Wrangler and Bronco type vehicles will always be the main focus of after market stuff.

That thread is the only place i can see it though, i havent been able to find where you actually get one, even on their site under skid guards i just see them for Imprezas.
It's new. I'm sure if you contacted them they could tell you more.
Like how it's still in production and their already on backorder. Lol

I think that suppliers are starting to realize how loud the cry is for aftermarket parts.

I'm waiting till at least the summer or the next year till I make any larger purchases.

If its going to be the same 11 gauge aluminium as what they have for the subarus on the site im not how helpful that will really be. I'm considering just fixing something like 1/4" aluminum plates and trying to get them bolted up myself. I wasnt aware the transmission computer was in such a dangerous spot (right up front under the fog light) so seems like that could get damaged quite easily. Probably won't attempt too much off roading with this like i had been hoping

From what I read in the original thread linked above, it's 1/8" thick, which is closer to 8 gauge. That's thicker than the 11 gauge Subaru skids, so at least it's a little better.

I was considering using the splash guard as a template for some plate steel but I would really like something that came up over the bumper valance... or replaced it all together. "Kind of" like what they showed in the picture.
I think I am going to make my own rocker panel sliders out of some square tube stock this spring. If you take a look there's a perfect location. There are drain holes that could be turned into mounting points and the boron steel sub-frame is just above it.
Idk, at least a project to consider.

This is good to know theres a spot for them, i would like some rock sliders although they would eat into the already limited clearance. What i really need are tow points in the front and back. I didn't get the tow package so i need to get a hitch installed (although mine does have the threaded insert for a hook in the rear). I need to get some tow point up front as well but from what i've seen you cant just get the 2 factory front hooks and add them to the big bend as it doesnt have the same mount points as the other trims.

doesnt matter what gauge to me, any type of skid plate or protection is better than nothing. hoping for something soon from the aftermarket.

From what I'm envisioning the rock sliders could be kept pretty low profile. Figuring out the tow hook problem is definitely something that needs to be addressed. I haven't looked into the mounting points that these models apparently don't have but there has to be a solution.

Around here the trails are tight so a BS, Cherokee, Toyota FJ or two door wrangler are best... and I don't know anyone that has one! So, I need a winch option.
