Upset over missing engine cover!

I give up. I can not get this engine cover to fit in place.
The back right just will not fit over the STUFF !!
How did you install ?

I talked to my salesman at the dealer. The service/parts manager called Ford. My salesman had received several complaints about the cover. according to him, Ford said that they are no longer shipping 1.5L cars cars with the cover, and if you put a cover on it, it may void the warranty. I'm not sure I buy that. I think that Ford is just getting cheap, or maybe they're have heating problems

There is a parts shortage big time. Especially since I saw they are making plastic parts out of the plastic fished out of the ocean. Yep it started in July that they stopped putting covers on it.

Highly unlikely dealers would know or care if someone added a cover.

FYI, are you aware that one of the round head mounting posts ( I think the right side back one) is extra long, It's been back order for quite a while!

You already have that one, it's under the black bracket. You don't have to buy that one.
