Well, lots of reasons actually.

First, they dim themselves if they accidentally light up a reflective sign or a hillside... something that makes them go up, down, up, down, up in just a second or two.

They're terrible at detecting cars I am following and especially if it is a bit windy of a road, even if it sees the car the lights just go up, down, up, down.

They are terrible at seeing cross traffic that I see. Either cars at a stop or merging out of lots. I wouldn't want some idiot driving at me with highbeams, and with the auto lights, I get to be the idiot.
I have had no problems with my auto high beams. The work flawlessly.

Here's the differences in the 360 option:

Hey everyone! I'm sure this has been discussed before but I couldn't find it in a quick search. I'm just making sure I understand the differences. My understanding is the BS comes with co-pilot 360 which includes the adaptive cruise control and lane monitoring, where as the 360+ adds to that with the speed limit sign detection as well as the lane centering and evasive maneuvering if necessary. We went with the regular 360 since as we really wanted was the adaptive cruise control, I'm just making sure I didn't goof in that decision.
I’m surprised your salesperson couldn’t answer this question for you.

So, with 360+ it detects things like parked cars when backing up. But with those additional front cameras, does it detect or warn you of things in front of you when parking?

I’m curious because this would help in parking in the garage.

Thats the breakdown I was looking for originally. Too late now, but I think the only thing I'll miss is the adaptive cruise control but the way we'll use the vehicle I think we'll be alright. If not....I can always order another one lol

He did eventually, I didn't ask about it until after we ordered because I thought I understood the differences but I misunderstood the wording

The rear parking sensors are separate from co pilot 360 and 360+ and part of the convenience package (big bend package on 2021). It adds a couple more bumper sensors like the ones that are used for blind spot monitoring and cross traffic alert. I don't believe there is a front sensing system available on the Bronco Sport. The camera in the windshield is used for lane keeping and collision assist. There is a camera in the grill on the badlands that could be used for parking I suppose but that isn't available on any other trim.

I use my front camera for parking CONSTANTLY. big fan.
Yes, when I found out there were no front sensors available on the BS in any trim, that pretty much made my decision to go BL easy. The front camera should be more widely available even as An option.

Can someone tell me where exactly the 360 plus sensor is located? It seems that the nudge bar and even the LED grill light interfere with the sensor. :( Why did Ford put it in the way? Can the sensor be moved forward or anywhere else to allow those to function?

It's actually a suite of sensors including (at least) radar and cameras. The radar sensor mounted on the grill is required for the adaptive cruise control.

It's becoming more and more obvious that due to the placement of those sensors that a LED light bar and nudge bar (with lights) are out of the question completely :( Is that whole place full of sensors? It's hard to tell from the picture.

Wondering if the sensor was left there and two shorter rows of LED lights could be put in the grill.
Or...can the sensor section be moved somehow.
We want the 360+ more than the lights, but trying to find a way to do both.

Really? That would be good to hear from some that have done it!

Rough country states on their site, and I've chatted with them too, that it will interfere and not to be installed with 360+ (the 360 would work since it's on the windshield, but not the 360+). In review of the picture provided of the sensor location, it's right where the bar or lights would go.
